Hopped in the LX570 and drove to @metaltech4x4 to get their bombproof rock sliders installed, and took it as an opportunity to enjoy a little R&R. I’ve spent a lot of time in Oregon over my lifetime and it’s beauty never ceases to amaze me.
Also want to extend a massive thank you to Mark and his team for letting us borrow the @metaltech4x4 GX470 to go explore in!

Had the amazing opportunity to spend last week in AZ filming new @pelican content with the talented team @silverlinefilms . Despite having spent a ton of time in Arizona (not to mention living there), this trip reminded me of the unrivaled beauty and ecological diversity that exists there. Incredible scenery, amazing people and doing work that fulfills me — it was an experience I won’t soon forget.

Every single car I’ve owned has been modified (to some extent), but the older I get the more I’ve come to love the OEM+ builds.
Now that I’m commuting again, I wanted to build the ultimate daily, that could still provide a fun weekend in the canyons (occasionally). I’ve taken the best bits from Lexus’ F-Sport parts catalog, and mixed in a few aftermarket parts to wake up the car up a bit. The result — a whole new personality accompanied by a symphony of noises as you go through the rev range. Upgraded to a @pelican Air 1557 to keep my gear protected from absolutely everything.
For way too long I’ve been keeping all of my camera gear in multiple backpacks, lens cases, etc. that provided ZERO protection. Figured it was time to upgrade and get something that protects from impact, moisture and everything else in-between. Now that I’ve gone full send on my camera gear, I want everything I own in Pelican cases! #PelicanLife
