1 week and 17K followers later… let me introduce myself!!! 🤍 I’m Keeks — a Canadian 🇨🇦 content creator living just outside of Toronto. I’m 28, and I just wrapped up my first full year of being single after a 4+ year relationship (this was not for the weak lemme tell you LOL) 2025 has been… A JOURNEY.
A mix of mourning, heartbreak, thinking I’m fine, realizing I’m absolutely not fine, and then doing the work to heal all over again 😂 
It’s been a year of letting go, rediscovering who I am, and rewriting the beliefs that were holding me back. Through all of that, I finally started showing up for myself — consistently, intentionally, and with so much love. This has been the most intense year of my life… and honestly the best one yet!! In the spirit of complete unfiltered authenticity here is a mini story about a time when my OCD got real bad 🫣 i’ve actually never seen anyone post about this specific style of “coping” so wanted to share cause if there’s anything I’ve learned it’s that there are very few unique experiences and now that this form of coping is in the past for me, I can share it in the hopes that someone else might see it and if they see themselves start thinking about getting alternative help🌸💕 contrary to what this version of me believed there are in fact better ways to live with anxiety/OCD/mental illnesses #mentalhealthawarenessmonth💚 #ocdrecovery #ocdrelief

your fav internet baddie is indeed mentally ill !!!✨💕🌱🌸 even in 2026 I feel like mental illness is still very stigmatized and it’s stopped me from wanting to show up online because i’m not currently in my “best state”. but fuck it WE BALLL - hopefully showing up a bit more raw and authentic and unpolished will inspire someone to do the same regardless of what they think is maybe socially acceptable or common for social media or whatever field that they’re working towards their goals in!!! Extra cheesy this week 😁😁!!!! Honestly been feeling under the weather this week but needed to make this cause there is so much to smile about!!! (Genuinely cant fit it all in one post so imma need to run this back) Bro me and my @apple macbook go together real bad!!! Love that i can hop on a zoom and connect with the people ive met around the world (both physical and online) Ive been using @kit to build my email newsletter and its been super easy (was a bit confusing for like the first 20min but thats cause i knew nothing about email marketing!) and i just smile every day seeing the number grow and getting emails from everyone in the BFY community!!! 🌸🥹 Also ya girl earned her first CREATOR INCOME BABYYYYYY - mark your calendars April 10th was the day it officially came in. We are no longer at $0!!! That is such a huge win! Were far off from the $10k usd goal but were headed in the right direction so its just about getting the reps in, continuing to try new things and seeing what happens! I know were hitting a 10k month its simply a matter of when and how and i have faith all of those things will become clearer through aligned action! 6 weeks ago my BFY newsletter had 0 subscribers. it’s sitting at almost 1,000 right now. 🤯 and honestly? it changed how I think about building an audience entirely. I was showing up on Instagram every day, creating things FOR my people (tools, resources, the real stuff) and realizing most of them weren’t even seeing it! the algorithm wasn’t delivering it to them (for reasons we will not ever try to understand). I was essentially shouting into a void and hoping people would see it and get value from it! so I started a newsletter. paired it with YouTube. and suddenly the people who actually wanted to be in this with me could FIND me!!! and I could actually reach them back. that’s the whole point of this carousel. I’m (DEFINITELY) not a marketing expert. the train to $10k has officially left the station wooo! Been feeling super low energy (anhedonia is the technical term for my current state rn) so im proud of myself for keeping things moving - i am so behind on basically everything since ive been crawling into bed at every opportunity but i just been tackling one major priority at a time ✨♥️ P.S. i am so in love with this community because yall make me feel better about being online while not being 100% and inspire me to use this time to experiment with more low effort formats (cause whos to say they wont perform better than my high production vids?!) here’s what I learned after posting every day for 30 days. Not only is it extremely doable, but it can also be SO EASY when you just get out of your own way! I was able to post every day not because I’m disciplined. Not because I had some crazy content backlog. But because I finally stopped trying to do it all on willpower alone. And because I stopped focusing on the big daunting goal and instead focused on one idea, one post, one day at a time. Here’s what actually changed 👇 The biggest lesson? > Consistency isn’t about grinding harder it’s about having systems that don’t make you want to quit by week 2. > Focusing on ONE DAY at a time turns something daunting like planning 30 days of content into a simple “what should I post today?” > once i realized how easy it was there were days I posted 2-3 posts!!! I used @stanleyforig to help me figure out what to post, analyze what was working, and stay on track without spiraling. It’s honestly the only reason I didn’t burn out lol (and learned that it’s actually SO EASY to post everyday and that I was really the one getting in my own way smh!)
