Our first paying group came to us last month! To us, a team of 6,7,8,9…or wait how many are we at this point????💆😅❤️‍🔥🌀🌪️🌊 This year was not easy. Team building was not easy. More and more people settled within the team, making it more complete 💓. Finding our place in the new constellation, honoring what has been while cherishing what is and looking at what will be, yaaaah intensive summer you guys, about which we will share more later… HOWEVER, the bumpier the summer, the happier we were when this group arrived and brought back some of the ease, the spirit, many team realizations and just so much joy and understanding to us ❤️ It felt like an end to the storming phase and the initiation into the next phase that feels much more rooted, arrived and joyful again. The project stabilized big time this year 🤎. For this and each one of you, we are forever grateful! And if we brought just bits to you of what you left here, we are even more grateful 🤪💛. We had a beautiful Erasmus+ learning journey to Paris and Galicia and discovered regenerative ways of living ✨ very inspiring and motivating! 🥰 really recommend travelling with “green glasses” on!

Just days after signing our plot, we gathered for our Sylvester Rewilding Week in Galicia! 🌿 Supported by @europeanyoungrewilders and hosted with the amazing crew at @heyits_thyme , 18 rewilding enthusiasts came together to learn, share, and take action on the land. From species mapping and river assessments to removing barbed wire and restoring a natural spring, every day brought new energy, discoveries, and laughter. A week of hands-on rewilding, community, and connection and a reminder of what’s possible when people come together with a shared vision. 💚 Huge thanks to everyone who joined and made this week unforgettable. What a week! Our Galicia Hope Hub team is proud, grateful and in reflection mode about the first experience with a (paying) educational group spending one week with a prepared program here ✨. Because we can’t comfortably host big groups yet (only in tents) we partnered with the beautiful @casa_berdeal_galicia to offer them a cozy Galician stonehouse experience 💛 The group came after breakfast to work, play and be with us during the days and spent the nights either with us by the bonfire or around the fire place back in their house - a perfect arrangement for future groups until our own community houses are up! We spent one beautiful week in the small village of Manon, at the community project Poquiño a Poquiño – the heart of the first Hope Hub in Galicia. 🌿 There, we learned about permaculture and regenerative farming methods and tried them out hands-on in the forest garden 🌱. We explored natural building techniques and experienced community living in its most authentic form. Poquiño a Poquiño means “step by step” – a reminder to simply begin, no matter how big the vision is. 💡 The people we met touched us deeply with their conversations, leaving a lasting impact on us. Aaaaand it‘s a wrap 🌯! Our first Erasmus group just left two days ago and we are still feeling all the feels about it, mainly happiness and gratitude for everything they brought to us ❤️ and a bit of exhaustion too haha! It was the first time we as new team of 9 had to „perform“ as a group - will share our learnings soon!
