Choo and Andrew’s wedding is featured on the front page of @stylemepretty !
Their wedding was full of intention – from the styled details, to their guests’ experience, to staying present and enjoying themselves. Their vendor team took their vision of wine country romance and DELIVERED, and I am so grateful I got to be a part of it!
Head to @stylemepretty to see the rest of Choo + Andrew’s intimate, sun-soaked, quintessentially-California wedding 🥂

Every time a tragedy or an injustice happens (so like, twice a week) it feels awkward and inappropriate to resume business as usual; to share photos of happy people from happy times when so many of us are grieving.
When you see me resuming the pretty photos, just know that my work is 100% intertwined with my (majority-held) beliefs that 🌸 we need gun violence prevention laws NOW 🌸 our LGBTQ+ community has a right to exist loudly and freely 🌸 Black lives matter 🌸 and healthcare is a human right.
Your bookings directly support: a recurring monthly donation to the ACLU, my children’s books about race and trans identity and two-dad families, my own education on inclusivity within the wedding industry. Your bookings support everything down to the very pen and paper I use to hang protest signs in my window.
I made a career out of photography because photography is my way of talking to the world—and these are (some of) the things that need to be talked about. Everyone is welcome in the conversation (yes, even *and especially* those who disagree with me) and everyone deserves a country that treats its people with humanity.
Grieving and fighting and voting with you, always ✊🏼

Hey pretend like I didn’t already post a farewell to weddings because @christinabestphotography just sent me this film shot from last weekend beside the Golden Gate and it needs to be my official ✨sign off✨
Thanks Taylor & John for having such a wildly beautiful wedding that it made me momentarily second guess my decision to retire 🫶🏼
I’ve said it everywhere but here so it’s time to make it Instagram official: I’ve reached the end of my wedding photographer era 😌
It has been a wildly beautiful, empowering, and fulfilling 13 years and I’m endlessly grateful for the people and stories and lessons collected along the way.
Now it’s time for weekends at home with my kids, being present for soccer games and family barbecues. I want time to write. I need energy to fight the good fight (human rights, less guns, a future in which war isn’t thrown around as a national brand strategy) and I’m ready to put my creativity to use doing just that.
In the meantime, 2026 weddings are in the trusted hands of my associate team—and yes, I am still photographing families as long as you keep inviting me to!
Everly took this photo of me on a Saturday morning while we sat outside with my coffee and her disposable camera. After my final wedding in November, this is where you can find me every Saturday from there on out.
To the 218 couples who trusted me with their most precious day: thanks for having me. It’s been so, so fun 🫶🏼
