It is time. The sun weakens, and a blood moon arises. The day of black night is upon us. Tides of Darkness is here.
I’m thrilled to share the latest entry in the Beyond the Lost Coast series. This is the largest book I’ve ever written, a page-turner packed with characters you’ll love and villains you’ll fear. Here at the edge of the world, horrors fester beneath the surface of this small coastal town. Discover how deep the haunted glow truly goes.
You can get Tides of Darkness now in paperback, hardcover, ebook, and limited signed editions. The audiobook is forthcoming.
Welcome back to Greywood Bay.
What has Andrew been working on BESIDES writing? I’m sure glad you asked.
The answer: a wiki!
The Beyond the Lost Coast (BTLC) wiki is NOT finished. In fact, it’s not even to 1.0 status…. yet. But it is shaping up to be pretty f***ing cool.
Characters. Locations. Events. Hidden secrets and dark lore. Even some future plans for the series, side stories, and more. That’s all coming soon.
For now, if you’re interested in beta testing it & bug hunting, I’ll put out a call soon.
If you’re a huge BTLC nerd & want to contribute, there’ll be plenty of room for you in the lighthouse as well.
Either way, stay tuned. The Historical Society’s doors will eventually open.
For now, here’s a few sneak peeks at what readers will eventually find.

Friendly reminder for my NorCal bookworms: the Sacramento Book Festival is tomorrow (Sunday, April 19th) and it's going to be another great one. This time with even MORE authors, food, and festivities.
Come for the books. Stay for the conversations. Leave with a parasitical cosmic horror devouring reality itself. Just standard stuff, really.
See you there!
Hey gang, I know there's a few scribes—aspiring or currently writing—among us. If you're interested in putting a little rocket fuel in your craft, check out Crystal Lake's Author's Journey 2026.
I've had a ton of fun chatting story and more with previous students, and I always pick up a few new things. This old dog can learn a new trick or two, so I'm sure you'll do even better. See ya there!
Q: What's better than a perfectly poured pint of beer?
A: One that refills itself endlessly.
I'm delighted to share an early look at this ABSURD short story, THE THIRST THAT WE BROUGHT, with all Weyward Souls at Lighthouse Keeper and above. If you like gaslamp vibes, aberrant horror, and lots of whimsy, this tale will wet your whistle.
Drink deep, my fellow spooksters, for there's something for all of us in those perfect bubbles and foam.
I had an absolute BLAST playtesting this game with creators Jon Cohn & Andrew Najberg. So much fun that I backed the campaign! BONUS: there's even an Indie Horror bonus add on with some of of your favorite characters and creatures... including a certain tentacled lady from the 90s.

Three months into the Weyward Souls experiment and I just want to say THANK YOU! Whether you’re lurking or fully entrenched in the fog, we’re glad you’re here.
Tomorrow at 5pm Pacific / 8pm Eastern, we’re watching Bring Her Back. Come hang out & watching at the hanging out & watching place. Let's get weird.
In March, the Beyond the Lost Coast Wiki (beta) launches, and Patreon-exclusive bookmarks start mailing to Lighthouse Keepers and above. Fun stuff ahead.
See you in the mist. 🕯️
A belated "Thank you!" to reader Maggie F. for insisting I check my P.O. box more thoroughly. This amazing steampunk octopus ornament almost got lost in the cracks! Turns out, Christmas can also come in February! 🐙
And, of course, a thank you to ALL who participated in the card exchange—whether the cards made it or wound up in some postal purgatory. Another fun community event!
Friendly reminder to all Weyward Souls: February's Movie Night nominations are due in less than twenty four hours. We've got a solid list going, but if there's something you'd like to nominate for our watch-along, head over to the ballot box and drop it in there.
Next up, the voting opens, and you maniacs get to pick the horrors we collectively experience! Who said joining a hive mind was a "bad" thing?
See you at the cinema.

New preview chapter ready for all Weyward Souls at Voidwalker and up. This is one of my favorites, because I’ve been waiting a few years to write it—pretty much from the moment Mark & Zelda’s house burned down, to be precise. Can you guess what it involves?
Hint: 🏡
Long before Chester scribbled out his will on a single piece of paper, I knew there was more than knowledge he’d be passing on to Zelda. He had keys. And those keys represented something she and Uncle Mark had been seeking: a place to grow roots.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Greywood Bay if there weren’t setbacks. Nothing will test your patience faster than a three-story Victorian money pit with smoke damage and wrecked framing. Thankfully, Mark would NEVER do something stupid, like try to repair an old garage spring himself just to save a few bucks.
Right?
