Sales! Sales! … Sure, but we never wanted a traditional car showroom. No tricks. No sales jargon. No pressure. From day one, our retail spaces were designed to reflect who we are: consistent, minimal, and unlike anything else in the industry. A place where respect for the customer and respect for the product come first. These are some examples from China, Denmark, Sweden and The Netherlands. Motion Blur 3/3 The visual language from the first two Motion Blur campaigns became the foundation for yet another chapter. This time, the brief was different, a tactical offer for Polestar 2. Traditionally, that means copy-heavy ads spelling out the deal. But we let the mesmerising visual effects do the talking. Creating something you’d want to look at again. And again. Motion Blur 2/3 You often get tired of your own ideas long before anyone else even sees them. But just repeating yourself? That’s even worse. So in 2023, we took Motion Blur for another spin. This time, it wasn’t speed that bent the visuals, it was energy. Electric energy that froze, twisted and warped the image on its own. We shot it all at Amager Strandpark in Copenhagen. But honestly, it could just as well have been another planet. #polestarbrand #polestar2

Motion Blur 1/3 Most car ads look the same. Sharp. Predictable. Boring. So we asked ourselves: Is this really the only way to show speed, energy and design? We flipped the script. We leaned into what most avoid: motion blur – that hazy distortion when the camera can’t keep up. We shaped it. Stretched it. And built a visual world of our own. Abstract. Beautiful. Colourful. To get it right, we didn’t fake it. We stacked real shipping containers in bold colours to create the backdrop we imagined. In 2022, we launched the first chapter. It didn’t look like a car ad – by design. #polestarbrand #polestar2
