🤍 2020 was a year of healing, self-love, and self-discovery. My cousin took me to my very first heels class, and I continued dancing through 2023—along the way, I even tried K-pop classes. Through all that training, I lost sight of why I started dancing in the first place. I wasn’t having fun anymore, so I took a break.
🤍 2024 — I returned to Offstage to quietly pick up heels again, only to realize how badly I wanted to try their hip-hop classes… but fear got the best of me, and my confidence needed rebuilding.
🤍 2025 — On January 24th, I stepped into my first hip-hop class at Offstage and fell in love with dance all over again. Since then, I’ve tried styles I never thought I would. I learned to find joy in the journey despite the challenges and self-doubt. I found my why. These days, when I want to try something new, I just go for it—even if my movements feel cringe 😬 An instructor once told me, “It has to feel cringe before it feels good.” (credit:

✨ What started as a healing journey became my permission to try.
I’m beyond grateful for all the instructors who were—and still are—a part of my journey, and for the friends I’ve made along the way 💖
