🚨Day 1 Photos🚨
It’s been one week since the 2025 Verboden Festival kicked off and day 1 photos from the Verboden Music Festival are up on the site!
Check out the full res shots of Ghost Fetish, Ronnie Stone, Rare DM, Devours, Maskara and a few captures by Daniel Brand of Joey Chaos and The Ghosts.
These photographs were captured by festival volunteer Joey Chaos, you may have seen him running around all weekend with a camera. He wasn’t able to capture every artist however if you have images from his set or from The Ruments set, please send us a DM if you’d like them to appear in the gallery.
Hi Friends, it's my birthday.
And lordy lordy, this boy is forty!
Here’s an album of ambient electronic music that I’ve written over the past few years. It’s called "Atmospheric Give’r." I’ve been fascinated by electronic music since I was a child living in Tofino, after witnessing a MIDI demonstration on an Amiga 500 in my grade one class at Wickaninnish Elementary. Aside from a few logic drummer sessions (I’m not a percussionist and have yet to program a beat that has changed the world) the album was written, mixed and produced entirely by myself.
This album is equally inspired by the countless hours I spent listening to ambient music while completing my master’s degree, the culmination of a childhood spent listening to John Tesh’s "Tour de France," and the best offerings from Yanni and the new age label Narada on the CD sampler from my father’s record store, and the MIDIs I listened to with my sister on the Adlib Jukebox music player on our 80286 IBM compatible computer.
I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you.

Thanks Seth for the Instax shots and Anna J for the art direction and tum.
Beauty golden hour on daywalkers @ringfingercult before their most recent show at @greenautomusic . We filmed the whole set and it looks fantastic - expect to see that in the near future.
Good to be back though I never went away, when you spend all your time working behind the lens you forget what brought you there in the first place. I moved to Vancouver to capture arts, music and creatives and I'm humbled that it's now my life. Thanks everyone ❤️
