Enjoy a delicious potluck dinner with other lovely women in our sweet community, an astrology update by @lilabassior , journal prompts regarding the full moon in Sagittarius and time to share thoughts and insights with others. Today is our last day of classes at our little sweet studio in the Atelier One artist lofts 🥹😭❤️ It’s day of mixed emotions- grief, in leaving behind our sweet, cozy little studio where it all began. Gratitude, for all of the love and healing and connection that has been poured into this space by our teachers, students community. Gratitude for the space that allowed us our humble beginnings as a yoga studio. And excitement, for what comes next as we transition to our new home 🌱✨🥹 Please join us today for our *last classes in our current space* before we move our roots to our new big yellow pot! We couldn’t be more giddy about our gorgeous new studio location, 8989 Graton Rd, the big yellow building right in the center of Downtown Graton filled with windows, skylights, a wrap around porch and SO MUCH SPACE to grow into. 🌱🤸🏻‍♀️🎉 We have been working tirelessly for the last 3 months to get this space up and running, and we are getting to the finish line. 🏁 😭🙌🏼 TO OUR COMMUNITY: To every person who held a paintbrush, laid a floorboard, or offered a kind word—thank you, thank you, thank you! On April 8th, 2025, we said goodbye to my dad. For the past year he had been fighting a rare disease known as amyloidosis. He fought it with the same calm demeanor he handled everything else with - it was just something he had to do. He had 74 years full of life, and seemed content to have squeezed as much out of them as he did. At first, I was frustrated to have only gotten to spend 40 years with him. But as I zoomed out, I remembered just how much life he had before I even came into the picture. He did so much cool stuff. When he was younger, he was passionate about photography - even winning an award for it at one point. He drove race cars for fun. In college, he hung out with one of the original writers on SNL. I’m sure that guy learned a thing or two from him, because dad was one of the funniest people I knew. He worked like hell at school and went on to earn his law degree. After that he took on what I think he’d say was his most fulfilling adventure - parenthood. He excelled at that like everything else. He and my mom gave us every advantage they could. They were endlessly supportive of whatever my brother and I were interested in. Coaching our little league teams, driving us to music lessons, letting our house be the practice space for our bands. I remember before I had my license, my dad drove me to a dive bar in the middle of nowhere so I could play a gig with my band. He just waited patiently in the car as though there was nowhere else he’d rather be. One summer, when I sprained my ankle skateboarding, he picked me up a skate video on the way home from work so I’d have something to keep me entertained while I healed. Even if he didn’t understand what I was doing (like moving across the country for example) his support never wavered, because he trusted that I knew what I was doing. Right up to the end, he never hesitated to say how proud he was of me. I’m proud of him too. Honestly, what a legend. I’ll be singing his praises for the rest of my days. To borrow a phrase - “I love you, guy.”

Story time: six years ago, I walked into @wolfandcranebar for the first time. My man @djson1 called me to fill in, so I showed up, played some records that everyone seemed to like, and like magic, that gig turned into my longest running residency. I’m eternally grateful to him for putting me on, and to the whole Wolf crew over the years - the staff and the regulars who turned into family. It really feels like a second home, which makes perfect sense considering the impeccable house party vibes we have there. So Friday night, 12/27, I’m clocking in for my last shift before life takes me to a new city… more on that later 😉 Come through, have an Asahi with me, and help me close out this chapter with a bang! Guess what y’all? It’s official! @lilabassior and I are engaged! 💍 Ok, so we may have already started planning our wedding… but we took a moment to backtrack and get our ducks in a row before we went any further. Considering we’ve already starting booking vendors for the big day, I had a pretty good idea she was going to say yes. But that didn’t make this moment any less meaningful, intentional, or special. We say “yes” to each other every day, and it’s just as impactful every time, to know we’ve got someone supporting us unconditionally. I can’t think of anyone I’d rather go through life with, and I feel just as fortunate every time you say “yes.” I love you @lilabassior ! ❤️ P.S. I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the origami ring we’re using as a placeholder. There’s a real engagement ring in the works, I swear, but I’ve been kinda tied up with the wedding planning and all… 😂

One year ago today, this little muppet made me a first-time dog dad! 🐶 As luck would have it, @lilabassior and I met Casey Jones on a quick trip to Phoenix, AZ to see @deadandcompany (Casey’s title track was conveniently on the set list that night). This sweet little stray was in rough shape, wandering in and out of our hotel looking for someone to help him out. Swipe through for the before and after pics of our trip to the amazing local vet we found - we weren’t entirely convinced they gave us the same dog we brought in 😂 The plan was to take him back to LA and foster him for a bit while we found him a permanent home. But since Lila and I are serial foster fails, it wasn’t long before we decided he was staying with us 😁 The cats begrudgingly accepted our decision. Happy Gotcha Day Casey! We love you!! 🐶❤️🦴

@lilabassior and I rang in our anniversary and my birthday in Peru last month. She goes above and beyond to make all of our celebrations special and this year was no exception (for example, finding me a carrot cake in whatever country we’re visiting at the time). 10/10 adventure buddy, would recommend. ❤️⛰️🦙
