What an amazing puppet this was to build! Again produced at @archmodelstudio for the Sainsburys’ commercial last Christmas! @christy.matta sculpted this huge puppet, I think it was painted by @kessiaharthur hair-punched by @andrew_sawdust cast by Patrycja! Amazing costume by @pophamroses although you can’t see it here! @oliverguymm made the leg armature and @andrew_sawdust again made the armature for the hand! A total team effort! Joints by @edsamsmodelmakingltdThis puppet was used as a reference for the cgi team to animate the final character!#puppetmaking #puppetarmature #armatures #stopmotion #animation

I wish I had a video of @theollytaylor puppeteering this cos he was so funny! This is a very simple mechanism for a Tui commercial where packing bags could talk! Made a @archmodelstudio. The costume department brought a bunch of bags to life @pophamroses Kat Probert, Jasmine, @bevalvarez, and some others @mitchbarnesmodelmaker @andrew_sawdust @oliverguymm and more! On this job I only worked on this one puppet making the eye and eyebrow mech! :)#eyemechanism #liveactionpuppet #puppet #puppeteer #puppeteering

This was an exciting project! This is the stunt cat puppet we did for Darren Aronofky’s latest film “Caught stealing” @archmodelstudio got together ince more to create this amazing puppet, I did the head mech and the fur on the tail but many talented people worked on it @tales_from_ellsewhere is in the last picture by the finished puppet showing off her amazing furring skills! @andrew_sawdust did fur work on it @oliverguymm made an amazing breathing mechanism! Last year I had the privilege to lend a helping hand in this wonderful project written and directed by @catjohnstonnn and @josephwallacedirector and produced by @ruyimeer keep an eye out for their profiles for loads of making off pictures and videos, it is truly one of the most amazing short films you’ll see this year!! What a fantastic film, it will enchant you! It was shot at @archmodelstudio thank you Andy for supporting independent artists!! :)

This is AL, an old almas (Siberian yeti) puppet I made back in 2018, he was a first test for a puppet for a script my sister @littlsonia and I wrote back then, still not finished! It has a wire armature and a lot of recycled materials I had lying around the house. I thought I’d share it as it’s very unlikely that we’ll ever make the short film! :)#stopmotionpuppet #stopmotion
