New website for R&B recording artist @itsjasminekiara
We designed the website to function as a music-first digital home that sports moody visuals and textures to highlight her artistry while keeping the focus on her music. Smooth transitions, scroll cadence, fades, and motion glue the entire website into a cinematic experience.
The projects direction naturally lead us to discovering a new glass displacement effect that we will be adding to our arsenal.
Jasmine Kiara is a R&B recording artist from Toronto, Ontario. Developing her sound through an extensive background of technical voice training, with her skillful songwriting and soulful vocal delivery, she is primed to make her mark on R&B. Jasmine gathers the raw, tender, and complicated emotions that shape her human experience, and transforms them into forms that feel universal. Drawing on classic RNB melodies and harmonies that soften the heart, she offers pieces of herself in hopes that someone listening might find comfort, courage, or connection.
Jasmine’s discorgraphy include her debut EP, ‘Just Friends’ (2019), followed by many successful singles, with her most recent release being her EP ‘Love Wasn’t Meant For Me’ (2024). This project gained international popularity and editorial playlist spots across Spotify, Pandora and Apple Music.

BarPass is an upcoming platform that pushes the ingenuity and techniques of cocktail bars into a broader existence. A place where guests can find the best bars and bartenders that each city has to offer.

Inner Code is a four-phase herbal tea ritual for cycle syncing—supporting energy, digestion, mood, and nervous system balance. Crafted with traditional Chinese ingredients.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Sacha M. (b. 2000) is a director and producer working across narrative, scripted, unscripted, and music video formats. His work is defined by emotional restraint, atmosphere, and a deliberate visual language, with a focus on grounded performances and subtle storytelling. Based in Toronto, he develops independent narrative projects alongside commissioned work for select clients, while collaborating with artists and producers across film and music.

The Zambia Belonging website is now live!
Conceived as a digital counter-archive, Zambia Belonging is home to the Fine Art Studios collections, one of Lusaka's oldest photo studios, as well as over 500 crowd-sourced images from 30+ contributors based in Zambia.
“This interactive site opens up the Zambia Belonging counter-archive of photographs to artists, educators, researchers, historians or anybody curious about Zambia’s visual history. The design – beautifully crafted by hexstudio.io – was led by the desire to reimagine how digital repositories could look and feel. To allow the archive to be an accessible site of knowledge for all. To present the archive as a scattered family album, where collections overlap and layer over one another. To lend itself to the fluid and non-linear notion of belonging which often stretches across various identities and spaces.
