An era of film education ended with you, Adam. It pains me to think that I'll never bump into you in a grocery store, seeing your cart-full of ice cream, Coca-Cola, and Oreos, and I'll never be able to bump a smoke from you while talking shit about some trendy young DPs and I'll never hear your honest criticism to anything I make, which keeps pushing me to be better.
I've already started missing your lame jokes and angry late night phone calls after I did something stupid on my big projects for calling me out my BS. You were always funny, and you could be full of shit even. But when it came to your students and to teaching them the right thing to have a better career in the film industry, you were more passionate and serious than anyone else.
You loved your students, more than any teacher I've met. You were inspiring and encouraging. You were the main reason why many of the Columbia cinematography students are still chasing their dreams.
You were a very, very important person to many, many people, and always will be.
Rest in peace, my best friend
It made me proud to be part of this project for the past month. I've been wanting to make a project about the childhood trauma of Chinese children of my generation, and it means so much to me. This film holds a very special place in my heart, and I'm forever grateful that @june66610 and @an_kassel31 gave me this opportunity.
And @june66610 I admire your courage and passion of writing this touching script and your determination to bring it to live.
Thanks for the great time that the lovely crew and casts brought to the set.

I just finished DPing a short narrative project "Morning After" directed and written by @gingertina13 last week.
Thanks to the crew staying cautious and responsible to make this project happen during a special period of time. ๐๐ @ladie_k@trinamulligan@linkwolfe@vivekafox@_grace_period_@thereallaurenelise and people I want to tag but I don't have their IG accounts!
Special thanks to the equipment support from @cameraambassador
We went thru wearing masks under 80 degrees for hours, a tornado, house power blackouts and location challenges, and we still finished the project without cutting shots. At the same time, we had great and fun time together. It was amazing experience to work with each of you!
Much much love!! โคโค

Special Thanks to the team of Hex Yang and Patrick Dowdle. We appreciate your readiness today at a โsnow-mentsโ notice on location in Chicagoland. Yet another example of Camera department (and Uncle Bob:) stepping up. B- Roll footage looks fantastic:)
Day 21/22 of @mostguysarelosers@andybuckley2020 took a photo of the stressed out focus-pull duo while he was in the scene.
