Hetti Murphi is the new EDM project of New Orleans Native Zak Scardino. Known for his diverse sets and blending live instruments with electronic music, Hetti pushes the boundaries of DJing by combining elements of funk, metal, rock and hip hop.
“I’ve done music my whole life and it will always be apart of me. In high school I started playing in a hardcore/metalcore band and started to pick up DJing and producing in 2014. Nowadays I really try to tie my two worlds together within my sets. I’m grateful for all of the opportunities to showcase what I’ve been working on. Every set is crafted solely for the moment and the experience is sure to leave you wanting more.”

The goal was always to play buku or voodoo (maybe one day still) but it’s still so surreal being organically booked for this. I’ve always been surrounded by music and been lucky enough to come across many other beings that share the same passion. It’s honestly such a driving force and I wouldn’t be anywhere without a lot of those people that I’ve shared life with and have bonded over music together.
