Αν και νεοσύστατη μπάντα, οι Herta έχουν πολύ σαφές όραμα για αυτό που θέλουν να κάνουν και το προσεγγίζουν με το αντίστοιχο μεράκι και επαγγελματισμό. Ο πρώτος δίσκος τους, με τίτλο «Crossing the Illusion», κυκλοφόρησε τον Μάιο του 2025, προκαλώντας αίσθηση στους φανς του progressive/djent ήχου συγκροτημάτων όπως οι Meshuggah και οι Gojira, δεδομένου και του αδιαχώρητου που επικράτησε στην παρουσίασή του στο Κύτταρο τον Δεκέμβριο που μας πέρασε!
Έχοντας μόλις επιστρέψει από τη δεύτερη περιοδεία τους εκτός συνόρων, το Σάββατο 20 Ιουνίου οι Herta καταφθάνουν γεμάτοι όρεξη στο Πολιτιστικό και Αθλητικό Κέντρο της Νέας Μάκρης ως άξιοι εκπρόσωποι του μοντέρνου groove metal, για να κατακλύσουν με την έντονη σκηνική παρουσία τους ΚΑΙ αυτό το stage!

🇬🇷 Οι @hertaband , ένα από τα πιο δυνατά νέα ονόματα της ελληνικής metal σκηνής, ανεβαίνουν στη σκηνή του Mammothfest 2026 την 13η Ιουνίου. Αν και newcomers, έχουν ήδη πραγματοποιήσει μια εντυπωσιακά εκρηκτική είσοδο στα δρώμενα, ξεχωρίζοντας γρήγορα για τις έντονες live εμφανίσεις τους και την εκτελεστική δεινότητα των μελών του σχήματος. Ο ήχος τους κινείται κάπου ανάμεσα στο progressive και το groove metal, συνδυάζοντας τεχνική, με ένταση και ατμόσφαιρα. Creating a drum solo for our live shows was such an interesting process. Since I only had a limited amount of time to work with, I decided to focus on the fluidity of time and the relative spacing between notes.
To do this, I used a concept I saw from @yogev.gabay.haorginal . It involves treating the space between three notes as a series of short and long durations, then varying how many notes fill each of those spaces. This approach is exactly what leads into that seemingly random tempo of 143 BPM ( Fun Fact: This is the exact tempo of "Eyes of Sorrow" )
As for the rest of the solo, it was largely improvised, using MIDI drums to help translate the ideas in my head into reality.
Huge thanks to @vp_foh_mon for the incredible drum sound, and to my bandmates @vagherta and @johnko1_ for keeping time while I did my best to confuse them! Also I should thank @konstantinos_togas so that he doesn't feel left out.
