A key figure in the Romanian underground and a name that’s been making rounds across the world. With years of presence at @sunwavesfest , his sets have become a staple, built on depth, control, and a true understanding of the craft.
More than just a DJ, Herodot is a talented musician and engineer, bringing a level of precision and artistry that sets him apart.

Herodot arrives in Edinburgh for his Scottish Debut at @cab_vol next Saturday on the 28th March.
We have wanted to bring @herodot to Edinburgh for a long time, after seeing him playing many times from Sunwaves, to Off Sonar, to Ibiza, to having him play our Gottwood stage a few years ago, we thought it’s about time we bring him to Scotland, to show him what we are all about!
Herodot is recognized as a “secret weapon” in the Bucharest clubbing scene, frequently playing alongside top-tier artists and playing all around the world, Notably his stand out performances at Sunwaves Festival. His flow between micro house to UK garage is flawless and his unique style of mixing is hard to imitate.

Herodot (@herodot ) is a DJ, producer, label owner, and sound engineer, deeply rooted in Romania’s vibrant electronic music scene. As a member of the influential Sunrise Hub and Agency, he has been shaping the movement since its early days.
He is also the founder of Unanim Sound Lab and Unanim Acoustic, creative spaces dedicated to high-end music production and sound exploration. With his refined grooves, technical expertise, and dedication to sonic detail, he continues to push the boundaries of underground music both on and off the dancefloor.
