I’m Nellie Blaze @nellieblaze , creator of Her Long Run! HLR was created for the woman who knows she’s capable of more — she just needs the structure, support, and belief to get there.
I’m a 25 year old endurance athlete and former Division I lacrosse player at Vanderbilt University. My journey from D1 team sports to the world of endurance running and triathlon taught me a truth I now live by: You can truly do anything you put your mind to, you just have to believe that you can.
I’ve learned through crossing finish lines that strength is never just physical. It’s mental. Emotional. Personal. And it looks different on every woman.
With every race I’ve trained for, every mile I’ve logged, and every athlete I’ve coached, my purpose has become crystal clear:
to empower women to see themselves as endurance athletes — whether you’re training for your first 5K or your first Ironman.
Her Long Run is where that transformation begins.
It’s where effort meets belief.
Where structure meets confidence.
Where training becomes identity.
Where women learn to go farther — not just in miles, but in life.
And yes, we’ll have fun doing it!! I bring energy, encouragement, accountability, and a little competitive fire into everything we build together. You won’t just get a coach. You’ll get a hype woman, strategist, teammate, and guide who deeply believes in your potential!
Because your long run isn’t just about race day.
It’s about becoming the strongest version of yourself — one mile, one stroke, one pedal at a time.
Final push!!!! TAPER STARTED ITS RACE WEEK MA!!! WAKE UP MA ITS RACE WEEK!!! Day 134/139 of training for Ironman Chattanooga 70.3 #ironman #herlongrun #fyp @ironmantri@ironmanamericas
Crazy the difference 3 years makes, same day of the week but I think about Saturdays so different now. Loved every second of it then and love every second of it now. Have never felt more like myself than I do today. I miss having no responsibilities like that but I love having the responsibilities like this now. If you’ve read all of this congrats, I hope you’re finding the path that gives you the most joy - that’s what I’m trying to do
Day 131/139 of training for Ironman Chattanooga 70.3. A few weeks ago I said that I’d start prioritizing sleep over some workouts. That’s what I did today, skipped my swim on purpose to get 9 hours of sleep. Don’t feel guilty about taking rest days, your body will actually become stronger by resting with intention #ironman #herlongrun @ironmantri@ironmanamericas
