April-May calendar ♥️ All April events are now live! Quran Journaling workshop: almost at capacity. I’m most excited for our Volume 1: Supper Club Series at @rumibrunswick Register your interest on Linktree, as this is invite only, so wow me with your answer to: ‘Tell us why you’d be perfect at our table?’. Over the next week, those who have been invited will receive an invitation via email to join the dinner, Insha Allah. Please double check your spam folder, just in case - they will be sent out over the following week. Pitch Your Favourite Cookbook is reimagining the sharing of recipes and knowledge - your culture or culinary interest of global palates can be passed onto another sister one Saturday afternoon, something they may carry with them for their whole life! The way they roast a chicken, prep their ingredients or substitute with an unexpected alternative - I see that as a wonderful way to leave a legacy ♥️ In May, the amazingly talented @naeemasartwork will host her @paintandchai_ workshop and Barakah Bazaar is a cute gathering to prep for Eid Al-Adha that I am keen to host you all at ♥️

✨Salams sis, welcome to our table ✨ I’m Nausheen, the founder and host of Her Halal Table I’m building the (rotating) third spaces that Muslim women have been waiting for, one table at a time. Each gathering will be a curated culinary experience, with the dream of hosting across different cities, taking my table (figuratively!) wherever Muslim women need community (hence, rotating) Insha Allah, at the heart of it all, I hope they will be: ✨ events rooted in faith, respect and kindness ✨ designed to be memorable, with cosy, cute details and keepsakes ✨ unique experiences and experiments that are intentional and accessible to all walks of life, levels of faith and identity Whether you’re a student, new to Islam or the community, a busy mother or simply seeking new experiences and friends, you are welcome here. This is not gatekept for any singular identity ♥️ This moment was captured at our first Eid Pop-Up in March 2026, one of our first events in Melbourne. It didn’t cross my mind that I would MAKE new friends here, only to perhaps facilitate that for others, and yet Subhanallah, I did ♥️ Please keep this dream of mine and me in your duas and that it reaches those who need it ♥️ ✨Your seat awaits, sis ✨

@paintandchai_ is returning, this time in collaboration with @herhalaltable for our Muslimah sisters, with an experience designed to nourish you in every sense of the word. “Fruits of Jannah” is a guided painting session inspired by the blessed fruits mentioned in the Quran: figs, grapes, dates, pomegranate, olives… No experience needed. No pressure to be “good” at art. Just come as you are. You’ll leave with: ✦ A painting you created, start to finish ✦ A moment of stillness you didn’t realise you needed ✦ Chai, connection, and conversations that linger Saturday 2nd May, 11am – 1:30pm Queensbridge Street, Southbank Spots are intentionally limited for an intimate, nourishing experience. Here is our first May event, a Paint and Chai afternoon, co-hosted with the lovely @naeemasartwork The theme of the event will be ‘Fruits of Jannah’ and it will go for 2.5 hours, where sister Naeema will guide the group step by step to paint a gorgeous take home canvas with fruits of Jannah. We would love for you to arrive early so we can get started on time and to make the most of the session. Details about the location will be on the website and provided upon booking. There are limited spots so please book via Linktree or through the @paintandchai_ website I would appreciate it if you give both @naeemasartwork and @paintandchai_ a follow, so you can be notified of her upcoming workshops if you are unable to make this one.
