I could say 2025 was more work than play - and it was - but I work with artists & people I respect and also like. So maybe 2025 was just a shit ton of work-play.
Back on my bullshit in 2026. Stay tuned.
Merry Chrysler!
Tyler built everything we're sitting in front of, including the fireplace. Bonnie's sweater says Happy Pawlidays. It was 65â° today. Hail Santa.
Wicked is the reason I'm a theater kid. Like a ship blown from its moorings by a wind off the sea, exposure to Wicked in 2005 became an inflection point in my life. Like a seed dropped by a skybird in a distant wood, it's probably the reason I work in the arts and am not an OBGYN (the other career path I was considering).
Who can say if I've been changed for the better? I do believe I have been changed for the better. And because I knew you, I have been changed for good.
I became a master of the fine arts in creative writing last weekend and it only took brilliant professors that broke my brain about 18,000 times, complete abandonment of what I thought words and language were at all, literally so many hours at my laptop, 8 years, my brain reforming itself 18,001 times, one set of hand-me-down robes worn by my mother and father at their 1980 and 1984 commencements in All Saints Chapel at The University of the South and one gold and purple hood.
Special thanks to my best friends in different timelines: Zora Neale Hurston, William Faulkner and Tennessee Williams <3 yall are craaaaazy lollll xoxo

Ye be warned... Team #torination *BEAT* the bomb!!!
We also scored in the top 3.65% percentile and absolutely crushed the Space Junk game but it's not about winning, it's about team-building (did that sound okay? did it sound like I think it's not about winning? I've been rehearsing...)
10/10 recommend @beatthebomb it was seriously so fun and... it actually really is about team-building.
Happy my birthday / World Fringe Day Eve to all you nerds.
You can't buy me a bday drink anymore but you can donate an overpriced martini to @atlfringefest by going to atlantafringe.org/support
xoxo,

The nice people at @voyageatl gave me a chance to jabber about self-producing theatrical experiences, about the greatest city in the world and about my belief that deep down, we are all theater kids. Some of y'all just don't know it yet.

I found Pure Barre after bilateral bursitis had turned my life upside down. On any given day, I never knew if I would be able to walk, drive or stand. Pure Barre was recommended to me by my chiropractor and slowly, I was able to build up the tiny support muscles I needed and reprogram my body into functioning.
Since then, Iâve gotten so much more than my mobility back. I now have a 90 second plank, an accountability program, full body push-ups, my sanity, barre buds, a hip that doesnât click when I walk, kickass playlists, teachers that push me harder than I ever would go myself, and a new relationship with my body where we communicate regularly about her needs.
There is not a single area of my life that has not been improved by Pure Barre. First class is free so DM me if you want to barre together!
Have you ever been in a roomful of women slowly discovering at the same time that they're stronger than they thought they were? It's the tits.
