Curation 004 Tomorrowland, meet artist Ker Chen:
Ker Chen is a multimedia artist who signals through creating virtual worlds and producing live experiences. Ker explores myths, fortune-telling, and AI algorithms to capture data points from the future and validate the present.
Chen says: “For me, different media are all creative tools - each one is a way of transmitting and transforming information. My practice is not defined by one medium, but by how I use these tools together to construct a space, or an energy field, where audiences can step inside and feel.”

I’m grateful for @theatermitu Hybrid Arts Lab, which provided a starting place for my ongoing Hold On No More series. This space allowed me to freely and safely explore imperceptible forces, the unseen, and the chaotic. 💧💧💧
The 2025 HAL Residency application is still open! I highly recommend my friends to apply—this is an incredible opportunity to experiment, create, and explore.
✨ :iidrr Space Artist Profile Now Live: Ker Chen @hereiskerker
Ker Chen is a multimedia artist whose practice bridges virtual worlds with immersive, live experiences. Their work explores the intersections of myth, fortune-telling, and AI algorithms as pathways for interpreting and validating the present while capturing fragments of possible futures. They view their art as an investigation into the elusive forces that shape existence—forces often as invisible as they are influential, from the unpredictable flow of emotions to the hidden workings of the body and mind. Through this lens, Ker’s work examines both the chaotic and the controllable elements within these forces, forming a dialogue between the self, the environment, and the broader, interconnected world.
Central to Ker’s practice is their fascination with simulation—especially how it relates to sensations regulated by endogenous chemicals, like hormones and neurotransmitters, that influence mood, perception, and identity. Their work contemplates how technology can amplify or distort these internal processes, blurring the boundaries between the physical and virtual. By intertwining scientific and spiritual perspectives, Ker seeks ways to control or at least understand the forces that govern these sensations, probing both rational structures and uncharted realms.

“Hold on No More” by Ker Chen @hereiskerker & Daniel Mangosing @danielmangosing
An audio-visual lecture performance at @uaad.art Festival Jukebox of Dissonance.
🐠Ker Chen is a multimedia artist who signals through creating virtual worlds and producing live experiences. Ker explores myths, fortune-telling, and AI algorithms to capture data points from the future and validate the present. Concerned with the simulation of sensations by endogenous chemicals, Ker strives to find elements of control within the invisible and chaotic aspects of existence, looking inward to the body, outward to the surrounding environment, and beyond to the external world.
🪸Daniel Felipe Mangosing is a Virginia born and New York based interdisciplinary artist, designer, and creative technologist. Their work spans realtime 3D performance, game engines, AI animation, XR, and interactive installations, and is characterized by a dreamlike and viscerally gestural approach to motion and texture.
