For a space that calls itself ‘folly’—which in architecture means a building constructed purely for decoration—the café in Pasar Modern BSD is, in contrast, deeply personal (@hereisfolly ).
Husband and wife founders Patricia Godjali and Bryan Wibowo blend their love of coffee, homemade snacks, and fresh blooms into the space—often bringing in arrangements from her own flower studio. Meanwhile, her sister Phebie, the florist behind Tutudios, adds a whimsical touch with a tall, beanstalk-like moss plant.
Their mother also contributes to the cafe’s lineup of marble cakes, with variations from lemon blueberry to pandan black sticky rice. Pair them with the signature Green Ghost, a matcha, milk, and espresso combination, or Toronto Fog, a comforting Earl Grey tea topped with maple cold cream.
