Great Sand Dunes National Park Monday afternoon with a sunset arrival.
Wolf creek pass to the west received 30+ inches of snow since Friday, and a handful made it all the way to the dunes. There were many tracks on the first few slopes, and almost zero beyond the 30min walk to the first high point. I passed a solo hiker on my way out in the dark on his way to camp "over the ridge" as a first time visitor under a brand new moon!
