Sarah B.Y presents BOOTY ON DUTY, a compelling selection of photographs that offers a rare and intimate glimpse into the lives of sex workers in East New York. Captured over the span of seven years, these images were taken on weekday mornings and afternoons—between 8:30 AM and 3 PM—during the artist’s daily commute to a nearby photo studio.
Through quiet observation and consistency, the work reveals moments often overlooked, inviting viewers to see both the humanity and complexity of a world that exists in plain sight, yet is seldom truly seen.
