Last week over lunch, I got to sit with Nekeya, and she said something that has stayed with me ever since.
"Every time we break a promise to ourselves, we are training our body not to trust us."
You say you'll start posting and you don't. You commit to the gym three times a week and it doesn't happen. These small moments quietly teach your body to distrust you.
And here's the thing, your body isn't working against you, it retreats to safety to protect you. But at some point, that protection becomes the very thing holding you back.
The real transformation begins when you start keeping promises to yourself. That's when trust is rebuilt and when everything shifts.

Not just in the ways of partnerships and clients, but in validating your dreams and the roadmap to get there. Showing up brings knowledge to yourself as well. I used to be scared of being in rooms like this. Until I realized I wasn't actually scared of the rooms, I was scared of change. Change in myself. I wanted to stay in my safe place, a place where I couldn't be perceived. However, when I decided to be open to being seen, I've never retreated to my safe house since.
It's interesting what happens when you're open to seeing what's possible because once you're exposed to women doing amazing things, things you once only dreamed of, that reality becomes validated. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it. You become inspired and you're lead to act on this inspiration.
Visibility isn't just about putting yourself out there so deals and partnerships can flow. It's about allowing yourself to see what is truly possible and suddenly, every dream you've been carrying becomes more achievable. Stop waiting to be ready to be seen, decide today to take up space.
