The Government is considering its last major changes to the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme. We've been pushing for them to:
🔶Recognise the full, devastating impact of hep C and early treatments
🔶Provide fair compensation for those subjected to medical experimentation
We’re worried that the recommendations of the Infected Blood Inquiry will not be fulfilled when these final changes are made.
We know that Nick Thomas-Symonds wants to be the Minister who finally rights this wrong. Time is running out, but there is still the opportunity to make this scheme fair.

A big thanks to Jamia Ghosia Masjid in Blackburn for having us along for a great testing event in January!
Last week, we attended @careermattersuk 's Lived Experience Charter Awards 2026 in Birmingham, and were delighted to see our Eastern Region Prison and Community Team receive the highest award – gold!
The Lived Experience Charter is an award that providers of NHS England services, social care and public sectors services can apply to complete and receive. Having Lived Experience Charter ‘status’, demonstrates that organisations have quality standards, good practices and a commitment to improving the inclusive recruitment and retention practices of people with lived experience.
