Meet Jahie.
If you’ve attended an event at Henry’s and everything felt calm, organized, clean, safe, and ready… there’s a good chance Jahie had something to do with it.
As our Venue Manager, Jahie is one of the people behind the scenes making sure Henry’s runs smoothly before, during, and after every event. From overseeing setups and managing the grounds to solving problems quietly before guests even notice them, he plays a major role in bringing the Henry’s experience to life.
What many people don’t see is the amount of physical work, long hours, preparation, and care that goes into maintaining a historic garden property like ours. Rain, mud, flooding, electricals, tents, lighting, moving furniture, vendors, last-minute changes… Jahie handles it all with dedication and heart.
He has been with us since the beginning, helping transform Henry’s from an overgrown space into the sanctuary it is becoming today.
At Henry’s, we believe beautiful experiences are built by good people — and Jahie is one of them.

In big cities, they call them jewel box stores. Tiny spaces filled with personality, magic, detail, and wonder — the kind of places that make you stop, smile, and remember what it feels like to be a little girl.
Four years ago, Charlize started with a small table in the corner at Henry’s.
Then came one shelf.
Then three shelves.
Still squeezed into a small commercial space, but filled with imagination.
Last Christmas, she made and sold over 30 gift baskets. Instead of spending the profits, she reinvested them into building what is now Charlize’s Pink Room at Henry’s — our own little jewel box store tucked inside the house.
Inspired by the tiny boutiques of Palm Beach, St. Barth, and NYC, every item in the room has been handpicked by Charlize and lovingly curated by all of us together.
Thank you to Mom, Mike, Becky, Kandice, Jess, and Ashley. Every shelf, bow, flower, and tiny detail was a community effort. It truly takes a village to help someone’s dream grow.
This room is more than a store. It’s a story about believing in small beginnings.

Last Friday I went to a pop up market by Henry’s POS. It was my first time at this venue and it was beautiful! The food and goods vendors were actually fabulous and I really enjoyed shopping around and liming in the atmosphere they created. I loved it! There were other vendors I didn’t get to list and check out but everyone was lovely.
I hear that this market will be held monthly… you should definitely check it out! 🌸🩷

There was a time when this corner of Henry’s was almost forgotten.
Every time it rained, the area flooded.
The ground turned to mud.
The grass disappeared beneath overgrowth.
An old satellite dish sat in the middle of the garden like a relic from another era.
Most people would have paved it over.
We chose to restore it.
Over the past few months, our team quietly transformed the space by hand — building new drainage to redirect water naturally through the property, laying turf to stabilize the earth, extending the pool house deck to create more gathering space, and building a pergola designed to feel like it had always belonged here.
The old satellite dish was finally removed, opening the garden back to the sky.
Today, that same once-flooded area became home to the recent Blossom Market — filled with conversation, plants, artisans, music, candlelight, and people connecting with nature instead of fighting against it.
This is what Henry’s is about.
Not building over nature.
Working with it.
Restoring spaces with intention.
Creating beauty slowly.
Every corner of this estate has a story.
And we’re just getting started.
