đŹ Another Exciting Casting Announcement! Indie film actor
@HenryHetz will play the role of Guy in
@michaelallenschatz âs short film, The Chatter.
Writer/director Michael Schatz selected Henry from hundreds of actor submissions because of the authenticity and nuanced approach. We canât wait to see what Henry Hetz brings to the role of Guy.
About Henry: Upon receiving his Masters degree in acting from Brown University/Trinity Repertory MFA programs, Henry Hetz moved to Los Angeles, where he has been particularly active in the indie film scene. Recent bookings include A63 Picturesâ âHalloween Aftermathâ, J. Zachary Thurmanâs âThe Demon Coreâ, and the 2024 LASIFF selection: â5.7 Secondsâ. Upcoming projects include Midnight Hour Productionsâ cerebral thriller âImmersionâ and Outright Picturesâ gritty horror based on a true story âBuddyâ.
About this Supporting Role: Guy is a subscriber who is primarily seen as only messaging responses. Unlike the other subscribers who want spicy content, Guy just wants to talk. Guy is unfortunately, naive. He believes he is in a relationship with the model, Sedona, and is unaware that he has been talking to Chatter. When the audience finally meets him, he is nervous, earnest, and painfully human. Heâs a lonely man seeking connection, and is heartbroken when the truth is revealed.
Sample of Guyâs dialog in this short script: âItâs our first date. First meeting,
actually. Iâm kinda nervous.â
The Chatter is an independent short film written and directed by Black List screenwriter, Michael Schatz. This indie drama will begin production in June and start crowdfunding later this spring.
