Twenty-eight years ago we said “I do,” having absolutely no idea that what we were really signing up for was a lifetime of inside jokes, two beautiful kids, and laughing at things that would make absolutely no sense to anyone else. Somehow, through crazy years we’ve kept the laughter going—sometimes at each other, sometimes at ourselves. Love may be the reason we got married, but laughter is what has been the foundation. Couldn’t imagine this life with anyone else!
In honor of Navy Seal Lieutenant and Medal of Honor recipient Michael P. Murphy, my family members who served, and all of our heroes, I did my first Murphy Challenge! It wasn’t pretty, the hardest hour of exercise I’ve ever done. Minuscule compared to what they gave.
