Jack White’s Debut Art Exhibition, THESE THOUGHTS MAY DISAPPEAR, to take place on 29 May 2026 at London’s Newport Street Gallery, the acclaimed exhibition space founded by Damien Hirst. The exhibition marks the first opportunity for the public to encounter Jack White’s visual art in a dedicated gallery context. Much of White’s visual work has remained private, yet his design sensibility has permeated the broad creative ecosystem of Third Man Records, the record label he founded in 2001. THESE THOUGHTS MAY DISAPPEAR brings together a dynamic selection of White’s assemblage sculptures, furniture pieces, and interactive constructions, largely forged from reclaimed materials, hardware store conveniences, and industrial remnants. THESE THOUGHTS MAY DISAPPEAR, arranged in association with @heni , runs from 29 May – 13 September at Newport Street Gallery, 1 Newport St, London SE11 6AJ.

How did a simple American flag become one of the most expensive and debated images in modern art? 🇺🇸 In 1954, Jasper Johns woke from a dream and painted a flag using bed sheets, newspaper, wax, and oil paint. In Cold War America, the symbol was so familiar it had become invisible, but Johns made it strange again, questioning not just its meaning, but how any symbol holds meaning at all. 🎬 Discover more about Jasper Johns and his radical rethinking of the familiar in our HENI Talks film. In our new HENI Talks film, join art critic Alastair Sooke and explore how one of the 20th century’s most provocative artists took a symbol of absolute divine power and dragged it through the carnage and mass communication of the post-war world. 🎬 Watch it via our link in bio. 📍 Prints after Bacon’s pope paintings will be released on HENI Editions.
