Hemliners don’t just work hard for our clients, we also roll up our sleeves and do what is right for our community. Our very own Megan Glenn, Digital Brand Manager, was recently honored by the Germantown Municipal Council PTO with a STAR Award for dedicating her time, talent, and resources to Dogwood Elementary. GMC PTO Excellence Awards are given to volunteers annually in gratitude for their commitment to the students, the community and the schools In Germantown. Join us in congratulating Megan and all the STAR Award recipients! 🌟
We ALL build confidence as we go. Thanks to the @memphischamber Women’s Business Council for a great event that brought Soulsville Charter School students together with business professionals. A meaningful space was created for insightful conversations across generations and we all left feeling inspired and ready to take on what’s next.
Being women-owned means more than a title, it’s our practice. We design strategies that open doors, we hire for courage and curiosity, and we believe every voice at the table matters. We honor those who made seats possible and recommit to creating space for the next generation of leaders. Want to collaborate on work that makes real impact? Let’s talk.
Setbacks are part of the journey — not the end. They mold us and shape us, making us stronger and more resilient. We are grateful for Maya Angelou’s words and legacy that keep us pushing forward. Happy Black History Month!
We love getting the whole gang together to start the year off strong! The 2026 edition of Hemline Huddle was a fun-filled day of creativity, collaboration and some cut-throat gamesmanship. This is always a special day that reminds us WHY we work so well together and how every one of us is uniquely valuable, making Hemline shine bright in every way.
Did you know that 2026 marks 100 years of honoring Black History Month? Think of all the educators, artists, organizers, advocates and mentors who have brightened our world, making it a more vibrant place. To honor the past, and carry the legacy forward, tag someone who lights up your life.
Congratulations to all the winners who were honored Saturday night for their Actual Intelligence (AI) @aafmemphis American Advertising Awards!
We are so proud of Derikah Scott, Art Director, who won the Mosaic Champion Award, which recognizes a professional annually who has relentlessly gone above and beyond supporting diversity, equity, & inclusion within the industry. It was her “A Day For All Women” campaign that also won GOLD and BEST of SELF-PROMOTION for Hemline.
We also want to recognize Dr. Sandra Utt, who received the Silver Medal Award, and who taught over 600 advertising students during her career at the University of Memphis, including some of our Hemliners.
As an all-female, minority-owned agency, our commitment to amplifying diverse voices and perspectives is at the core of who we are. Kamala Harris’ courage and determination continues to open doors for all of us. In honor of the Black women who have paved the way, tag someone who inspires you to keep going.
Learning business is one thing. Learning it alongside women who lead is another!
At an all-girls school, girls learn to speak up, take initiative, and see themselves as leaders. Surrounded by experiences designed to empower them, girls develop the confidence to take bold steps toward their future.
So, when the Memphis Business Journal (MBJ) announced applications for its Next Gen Class of 2025, Molly Kirshbaum ’26 was excited to apply.
As a member of the Memphis Business Journal (MBJ) Next Gen Class of 2025, Molly was recognized for early aptitude in business and a commitment to academic excellence.
A hallmark of the Next Gen program is mentorship from Memphis-area executives. MBJ curates each partnership, thoughtfully pairing Next Gen students with local business leaders.
Molly was matched with Andrea Wiley, Partner and Director of Client Service at Hemline Tailored Brand Strategies.
With the strong foundation she’s built at St. Mary’s, Molly stepped seamlessly into the opportunity to learn from Andrea. Between conversations about unique strategies for Hilton Hotels and digital advertisements for award-winning products, Molly could see the threads of her career coming together.
“I appreciate being able to form connections like the one I now have with Ms. Wiley,” Molly shared. “From my mentorship with her, I’m even more excited to study business in college and hopefully make a similar professional impact as her and her work at Hemline.”

Molly is one of two seniors representing St. Mary’s in MBJ’s Next Gen Class of 2025. Stay tuned to hear about Molly’s Next Gen classmate, Meagan Miller ’26, and her journey learning about public relations and entrepreneurship!
Just before the snow hit on Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting two seniors for @stmarysepiscopalschool Career Connect Day! We loved introducing them to Hemline, sharing how we develop creative solutions to serve our clients and teaching them about the marketing and advertising industry as a whole. Amirah and Molly are destined for great things!
Happy MLK Day! Congratulations to Hemliner Derikah Scott for receiving the Impact Award from Citizens for Better Service at the 33rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Awards Program.
“I’m grateful for every opportunity to serve Memphis and my community. Congratulations to the other award recipients who also follow in the spirit of Dr. King.” - Derikah Scott
We get to witness Derikah’s servant heart every day and we are so grateful she is part of our team!
