THAT’S A WRAP! The HELL YES! Writing Camp 2025 came to a close this weekend. 50 incredibly talented people met up to make 28 songs across the past 5 days. We kicked things off at @harrietsnashville with amazing views and conversations. Met up with community at PLAYBACK in the middle of the week for our quarterly listening event with @popsquad615 & @homeformusic . Finally @thejennaandrews & @iamstephenkirk welcomed us at @graffitisoundrecords for a listening party to hear everything created throughout the week. The cherry on top was the fact that they partnered with @guitarcenterfoundation to gift everyone in the camp an amazing audio interface to keep inspiring new ideas well beyond the week we spent together. We are constantly in awe of the passion and drive of this creative community. Could not think of a better way to celebrate 5 years of HELL YES! 💛 thank you for being a part of it and for sharing the time with us. We can’t possibly tag all of the people in the camp so please share a memory and tag a collaborator in the comments 🤗 Until next time 🎶

It’s time for our final intro post for the Hell Yes! 2025 Camp! We’d love to introduce you to some of the tenacious team behind Hell Yes! Today, we have the awe-inspiring @emilyabelue , @basvandolder , and @voiceschris ! 💛

Emily Belue, a Colorado native and dual citizen of the UK, is celebrating her 10th year in Nashville. As the head of creative sync at Capitol CMG, she has the amazing opportunity to blend her passion for music and media, and work closely with artists like Tommee Profitt, NF, Blessing Offor and Jamie MacDonald.

As a member of the Board of Directors of Nashville In Sync, she strives to elevate the sync community both in Nashville and around the world. This October will mark her second year with the Hell Yes! team, and she can’t wait to see what amazing music will be made. _________ Born, raised, and residing in the Netherlands, Bas van Dolder is working across multiple sides of the music industry. As a Label Manager at Bertus distribution. He represents internationally renowned companies such as FUGA, various independent Dutch labels, and many re-issue labels for physical distribution and retail marketing across the EU / worldwide.  Bas also works as an A&R Manager at CTRL FREQS, a sync licensing and custom production company representing independent artists, songwriters, and producers. For nearly five years, he has been part of the HELL YES! team, focussing on creating opportunities for independent artists. —— Chris Martignago is Vice President of A&R at Prescription Songs in Nashville, with over 14 years of experience developing top creative talent. Coming up next, we’ve got three sincere songstresses @hannahrandband , @lakencampo , and @gracechristianx ! 💃

Hannah Rand is a Chicago-born songwriter and artist whose music blends emotional honesty with unforgettable melodies. A Grammy Foundation award winner and Belmont songwriting graduate, she crafts songs that feel intimate yet universal—captivating, vulnerable, and deeply resonant. With recent placements including Netflix’s Virgin River and a new EP on the way, Hannah continues to emerge as a fresh, compelling voice in indie music.
—
Laken Campo is a multitalented artist and songwriter hailing from Flower Mound, Texas and is currently based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Their powerful and spirited writing gives voice to the emotions and stories they have to tell their listeners, while keeping them enraptured with their unique and powerful voice.

While in Nashville, she has found numerous successes and opportunities as a songwriter, being invited to perform at professional writers nights for ASCAP and performing her original music at the Curb Event Center for over 1000 people to hear. She draws inspiration from many of the incredible songwriters and professionals that have come before her, including Lizzy McAlpine, Noah Kahan, and Briston Maroney. - Grace has been writing in Nashville since December of 2021, and has since earned a reputation as somewhat of a jack-of-all-genres.  Hailing from North Carolina, fresh off a jazz performance education, Christian set her sights on Music City with pop songwriting in mind.  In 2022, she recorded an alternative rock/folk EP “Theme Park Every Day” and several singles as a solo artist, Grace Christian X (Adding the X to her name since 2016 to avoid confusion with churches and schools)   She has since become known as a member of the lively punk trio massie99, contributing to the writing of all 12 tracks on their 2024 debut record, “Alpha Beta Omegle”.  Christian has also left her mark on several recordings as a backup vocalist, adding harmonies to the tunes of J.T. Loux, Pretty Jane, and more.

Next up, we have three collaborative-minded creatives, @electricfootball , @amyashermusic , and @levigreenberg ! 🤗

Josh Jordan is a Nashville based producer, songwriter and artist.  Primarily focused in the indie/alternative pop scene, Josh has worked with artists like Vaultboy, Knox, The Wldlife, Bulmuri, Arizona, Hastings, and more.  Also a part of the Nashville indie pop scene Josh’s self-produced side project Electric Football, an electronic pop fusion that blends organic sounds and electronic music into one.

— Amy Asher is a Nashville-based songwriter who has a versatile catalog, writing everything from emotional indie ballads to anthemic pop-punk songs. Amy was in a pop duo by the name of Mommy Issues, and released her first solo EP last year titled Grieving Someone Still Alive. Her work has been featured on major Spotify playlists like New Music Friday, and she’s become a trusted collaborator for artists looking to tell their untold stories.

Amy is also passionate about curating writing retreats that bring creatives together—fostering community, inspiration, and collaboration. Whether writing for artists or sync placements, Amy approaches every song with curiosity and a genuine love for the craft. Amy for sure used ChatGPT for this.

—
