Formed in 2025, Helluloid hail from Melbourne, Australia and play a unique brand of horror infused “Slash Metal.”
The quintet features a veteran lineup including Dean Defiler (Malichor, Anarazel), Matt Profanator (Belligerent Intent, Draconis Infernum), lain Murdoroth (Malichor, Hellspit, AK-1I), Dan Revenant (Irreparable, Anarazel) and Adam Insidious (Vicious Circle, Abrasion). Every track is a recap and review of your favourite scary movies, focusing predominately on vintage VHS gems from the 70s and 80s. From the timeless and untouchable classics that helped shape the genre, to the obscure video nasties that have shocked viewers for generations... Helluloid has you covered, as they guide you on a journey back though the golden years of horror cinema and old school thrash metal.
