Dear SINGLES!!! You know that “I’ve got this, I don’t need anybody” attitude you’ve had for so long? Yeah… what happens when you actually want to do life with somebody? No one really talks about the challenge of moving from strong independence to healthy interdependence. So let’s talk about it.. About a month ago, we came together for the very first edition of Be Found Faithful, & what a beautiful time it was. So thankful to all our speakers, the worship team, our volunteers, for everyone that came & for all God did in our midst. . I am still in awe of what God did this weekend. Be Found Faithful was a whole move of God. God, you get the glory. This was a testament to what God could do with our obedience. @faethefav said yes to God to bring together single men and women intentional about honoring God in this season with their bodies, talents, gifts..... To my sister, the best host with the most @yvonne_ben just walked that room to the glory of God. We heard from couples who waited well and are thriving in their marriage (while still been pruned). The pruning never stops. We witnessed strangers connect so easily and freely. We explored topics on the minds of singles. Pastor Tolu @tolscreates brought the word... practical, relatable, and very much needed. Listen, people.... I know you want to get married, I do too, but your desire to please God in Obedience to what He has called you to do should supersede. What if you never marry? What if it is still a few years? Are you going to be sad and idle... Nope. Like Pastor T said... prayer of inquiry, seek the mind of the Father, He'll direct you, but you must be willing to obey. Be Found Faithful is a gathering for single believers in Christ, men and women fully surrendered to God. If you are living a consecrated life, daily choosing to die to self, waiting well, walking in purpose, and perhaps growing weary or discouraged in the wait, this meeting is for you. If this resonates with you or with someone you know invite them and come let’s fellowship together. It will be an evening of prayer, fresh fire, worship, edification, real & honest conversations, fellowship, food, kingdom connections & Godly friendships. Also, married couples who waited well will be there to share their journeys and testimonies, & offer godly counsel & encouragement. Pastors will also be present to answer some of the often unspoken questions many singles have especially those who feel unseen or out of place in the church. This is not for everyone, so if you are currently living a double standard life or compromising in areas like fornication, this meeting will definitely challenge you, but you are welcome to come & you will be empowered to know it is possible to live free by the Spirit. My prayer is that you will leave this meeting feeling encouraged & with a fresh sense of who you are & your identity in Christ, hope restored, faith stirred and strengthened, convictions deepened & hearts aligned to the will of the father.
