— On March 24, 1976, Argentina experienced a military coup that marked the beginning of a dictatorship defined by violence, censorship, and the disappearance of thousands of people. We chose the white headscarf, symbol of the Mothers and Grandmothers, for the strength of what it represents: an ongoing struggle for memory, truth, and justice. The flowers accompany that path, as a gesture of love and life in the face of horror. 50 years later, memory is not the past: it is the present. To remember is an act of resistance, a way to uphold truth and justice. So that this horror is never repeated. Never again.
