I’ve just found Edinburgh’s new go-to spot for summer drinks - the Eminente Rum Terrace at Duck & Waffle Edinburgh has officially arrived, and I headed along to the launch last night. The terrace had been completely transformed into a Cuban-inspired escape, with expertly crafted Eminente cocktails, delicious light bites, and immaculate vibes all round. We even got a rare appearance from the Scottish sunshine for part of the evening. The cocktails were a huge hit - the Buenavista Social and The Ambar Riot were definite standouts for me, and the Duck & Waffle light bites were every bit as good as expected - their food never disappoints! 📍Duck & Waffle, St James Quarter @duckandwaffle_edb have launched their May set menu featuring 3 courses for £28✨ The menu showcases some delicious Scottish seafood, highly recommend the smoked salmon starter, some of the best smoked salmon I’ve had! The Cranachan was also a highlight with their signature waffle twist! Packed full of flavour + the perfect sweet to balance out the savoury. All the dishes were well presented + such high quality, luxury dining without breaking the bank! The set menu runs Monday-Friday 11:30am-9pm + Sunday 5pm-9pm. Tried the May Set Menu at Duck & Waffle Edinburgh and it absolutely delivered 👏 For £28pp you get 3 courses and the quality honestly felt way above the price point. We went for the green tomato gazpacho to start, super fresh and packed with flavour 🌿 Mains were the roasted sea trout with orzo and the risotto primavera, both beautifully done. The trout dish was light but rich at the same time, while the risotto had that perfect creamy spring vibe ✨ Desserts sealed it: baked cheesecake with poached rhubarb plus the Cranachan, which was easily one of the highlights of the meal 🍰 If you’re looking for a solid Edinburgh set menu that actually feels worth it, this is definitely one to check out. 📍Duck and Waffle Edinburgh 💌 Invite @helloskapa

Then look no further than @duckandwaffle_edb in @stjamesquarter 😍😍. The May set menu is £28 for three delicious courses. ✨ We tried the gazpacho, smoked salmon, trout and fishcakes 🐟 which were all amazing. Desserts were excellent too with a gorgeous cheesecake and cranachan served on a warm waffle 🧇😍😍😍. The staff were so helpful and attentive. The restaurant is also really spacious and colourful setting if you are visiting with wee ones. Chef @shenal_suwaris joins Kochchi following his departure as Head Chef at Sushi Samba Edinburgh, where he was part of a high-performing culinary team delivering bold, contemporary cuisine in one of Scotland’s most dynamic dining environments. Widely regarded as one of the country’s most exciting Sri Lankan chefs, Shenal is celebrated for his vibrant approach to flavour and his deep connection to the food culture of his home country. Absolutely stunning and my new obsession. @duckandwaffle_edb St James Quarter is simply stunning, incredible food, amazing drinks, staff service is second to none and vibes on vibes so I’m not surprised that there Oyster & Wine pairing Happy hour was so enjoyable. Nico Simeone Brings Lennox Home to Glasgow After Manchester Debut. Chef Nico Simeone is redefining his culinary identity with the launch of his most personal restaurant concept to date: Lennox. Following a successful debut in Manchester in March, @lennoxglasgow_ will mark a homecoming for the chef in May 2026, bringing the concept back to the city where his restaurant journey began. As Six by Nico approaches its tenth anniversary, Nico Simeone is reimagining one of his most cherished Scottish locations, signalling a bold and deliberate move that marks a new chapter in his career. His restaurant site on Byres Road in Glasgow will undergo a complete transformation to become Lennox, a restaurant and bar concept that represents what he describes as “the other side of the coin” to his established portfolio. date night at @claretsstandrews 🍸🫒🍝✨ we had such a gorg night at Clarets, the food was great and the views were equally as great- views right over the old course and across the west sands which with the lighter nights is a match made in heaven 😃✨ they adapted the menu for me being vegan and nothing was a problem, it’s refreshing 😆😆 they’re open day and night now, before it was just day time so I would definitely add this to a date night spot in St Andrews- and the price point I think is so reasonable for town too !!! invited #standrews #standrewsfood #scottishfoodie #standrewsscotland #standrewsoldcourse
