After a long disconnect from this page, I feel ready to return. πͺ²
I have been working on crafting and growing @inknatura for 3 years now, leaving my art account to fall by the wayside. When I look at it I feel it does not reflect my work or who I am as an artist anymore.
So itβs time for a change. π«
I will be posting my current work in all various mediums as a visual journal and collection I hope that you follow and enjoy!

My love for ecology and botanical art started as I was growing up, watching my mother tend to plants.
She owns a succulent nursery in the Karoo, and I treasure spending quiet moments with her in the shade house, surrounded by jewel-like succulents and hot red earth.
Exhibition runs until until 16th of January 2026

The milkwood holds a special place in my heart. It is an iconic Western Cape tree with many birds and pollinators drawn to it. I am attracted to its deeply nostalgic scent and reaching, gnarled branches, providing crevices for lichens. The canopy feels like a magical escape that draws you in.
Exhibition runs until until 16th of January 2026
Finally looking at this milkwood again after what feels like a year of not being able to face it. Sometimes you just need to step away. πΏπ«
