Where do I even begin?
Both trips were a trip. Family is a trip. Grief is a trip. Love is a trip.
San Antonio - I arrived at the funeral directly off the flight. A lot of deep breaths, a lot of conversations with myself, trying to find the right words to say at the podium. My only goal was to heal and spend time with my love ones. Encouraging them to make moves that they might be afraid to make. Understanding that life is short and we need to come closer together. Sprinkle a few beers, a design duel and a lot of laughter. I was ready to experience an extra layer of peace during this next trip.
San Diego - Jackie’s home. WOW
I honestly didn’t know what to expect and to be honest I really wanted to be by myself on the beach. But as I’m learning about peace and accepting a new love, I got a chance to explore this beautiful city I kept hearing about. First and foremost, visiting her mom and her house made me feel welcomed and through and throughout I felt my own grandmother’s presence every step of the way. Jackie 100% made sure I was right at home. From the food through the under paths of Chicano Park and even a surprise mural of King Mystery himself. I took in the love and amazing weather. Felt peace when I closed my eyes at the beach and even caught up with my dear old friends.
I loved every minute of it.
Since I’ve been back to Kansas City, I’ve been cruising on auto pilot trying to figure out what’s what. I’ve been taking today to rest with a small workload and enjoy all the wrestlemania chaos.
I feel good though. I know you guys have been seeing my names on some flyers that I haven’t really announced yet. Just know that I love and appreciate all of you who support me and my family and to the ones that have sent me kind words during this tough time. Thank you!

The SBPR is a three-day pinball extravaganza in the Alamo City and is the largest women’s pinball event in the world. The event is open to women and will include five (5) IFPA sanctioned tournaments played across a bank of 45+ machines. Join the best players from all over the country to celebrate women in pinball and compete for WPPRs, cash prizes, and more loot than you can shake a stick at!
This year’s artwork and theme is a celebration of South Texas pinball culture and the traditional Mexican game of loteria.
