Probably a little late to post for votes but still wanted to showcase this. So MEGA proud of the Canadian SPFX build team that I worked with in Season 4 of The Boys @theboystv . Thanks, gang, for putting up with and putting out the huge range and amount of work! You all deserve the nomination! I know we crossed over depts - textile printing & foiling, crystalling, laser cutting, 3D modelling & printing, sculpting & molding, chroming and painting... we really did it all, and I don't know who else would have done it with us! And thanks to those who came to help! More to come....

Not sure why I'm still being asked what I wore to CAFTCAD, even today, cuz I wasn't a winner for @theboystv . Everyone knows I don't really take photos, and none from the event, but in case anyone else wants to know, here's a mirror selfie at home. It was for reference! Felt a little pretty but it was just a sash/cummerbund 😂
Here's a little something. I wore the ST Discovery pin I got from when I worked there, to secure where it drapes at the pocket (yeah, I realize now it was upside down 🙄). It was in honour of my friends in the crew. IYKYK what I'm talking about. So happy to seen the bunch of you at the awards. Miss y'all!

Period shows have corsets - we have muscle suits! And we made them in pretty fabrics, too! Happy to say that the actors who wore our costumes (from the Canadian Specialty Builds team) said they were pretty (if not, the most) comfortable costumes they've worn.
That's not to say our actors didn't come with their own muscles! 😂

Illustrations vs IRL
Love starting a project from the ground up. Costume designer Michael Ground @michaelground gave me the opportunity to do illustrations for these supes and have our team build them. You can imagine just how many variations there were and obviously how things change, as seen in @dainavaliulis final updated illustration on the right and in the actual build. Thanks to all the actors who brought our costumes to life!
