This work explores the tension between beauty and defense.
What is considered “beautiful” is often expected to be soft, pleasing, and non-threatening.
I reject that.
These pieces take the form of armor — sharp, excessive, almost hostile.
They are not designed to decorate, but to protect, to confront, to exist without permission.
In a world that constantly asks bodies — especially feminine ones — to shrink, to soften, to be palatable,
this work insists on the opposite.
