Hey, it’s me! I’m Heather and I’m the face behind the camera at Hello, Photo! I guess it’s about time I show up on here. Photography isn’t just a job for me, it makes up my entire existence and purpose in life. Even when I’m not being paid I’m still picking up a camera every day. I am deeply passionate about the correlation of imagery and showing human connections to tell a story and I feel strongly that every human has a beautiful story to tell. Here’s some facts about me and if something resonates with you, please feel free to share!
- 35mm Film will always, hands down, be my favorite medium.
- I am ADHD AF. I was diagnosed in my early 30’s and it kind of explained everything and honestly gave me a sense of relief to give myself some grace. If I’m having a conversation with you and you notice me looking over your shoulder it’s because I’m fascinated with how the light is hitting or a shadow is forming, haha, but I promise I’m still paying attention to what you’re saying!
- I moved into a camper van with my dog and cat in 2020. Met the love of my life and moved into his sailboat in 2021 and now we split the difference with boat life and van life and the cat and dog love both options. A craft beer next to a campfire always sounds like heaven to me. I don’t picture myself living in something that doesn’t have an engine anytime soon.
- Go figure, I’m terrified of water and drowning.
- I LOVE love. In all its shapes, forms, colors, and sizes. I don’t care, if you’re in love I’m here for it!
-Smiling is my favorite. I’m working on my laugh wrinkles all the time!
