I can’t seem to find the words to express myself at the moment, but I wanted to take this time to say thank you to everyone who has supported me through this wild 14 year journey. You followed me through my career as a celeb blogger who later found her way. That led me to risk it all to switch paths and start a women’s empowerment and lifestyle platform while trying to find a career path that was more purposeful. You followed me through my fitness journey as I became a bodybuilder and won my IFBB Pro card as a bikini competitor. And you followed me as I dived more into wellness and my personal development journey.  I’ve cried a million times this year. Founders don't talk about this enough but It’s not easy leaving a brand that you’ve birth after the blood, sweat and tears it took to bring the vision to life. I thought leaving Necole Bi. was difficult, but this one hits different.    I always wanted my career path to represent my evolution and my becoming. I continue to hope I stay true to that. Necole Bitchie, @xoNecole and my work in media was a part of my old life. But for me to step into the woman God called me to be, it’s time for me to be fully committed to my new life.  God gave me a vision in March 2021 that was so strong I couldn't deny it. He told me I would disrupt the health and wellness industry and change the lives of many women, especially black women. He gave me the tools, knowledge, the ingredients and even the name and told me what to do with it and @myhappyflo was born. Imposter syndrome had rode shot gun for most of my career but had no room in this part of the journey. I hope me being so open and public with my transitions, the good and the bad inspires someone. I am proof that you can always switch directions and you don't have to be tied to one thing for the rest of your life. Let's continue to break those glass ceilings... I want to take this time to say Thank You! Thank you for the love and support you guys have shown @myhappyflo -- all natural period relief vitamins! It's been a wild ride that started from an idea in March 2021. Won a $10k grant from @ifundwomen and Neutrogena in May and launched preorders in June. After shipping the first round of preorders in August, the testimonials started pouring in and so did the sales, the podcast and media features. And a ton of love! I am grateful ❤️ I launched this brand in honor of my mom who passed from breast cancer at the age of 41. My parents dying young from preventable health complications was the catalyst for my holistic health journey. Studying estrogen and it's role in breast cancer and fibroid development has been my thing over the last 4 years, and I hope beyond a natural remedy for period pain , My Happy Flo can blossom into a full product suite as well as educational content that helps further empower and inform women of color about their menstrual, hormone and reproductive health. Thank you so much to @blacklove @yasminejameelah for the wonderful write up! @ericacobb and @shedidthatpodcast for the recent podcast features and everyone who has purchased My Happy Flo. If you or someone you know are looking for an all natural, plant based solution to painful heavy periods (without the long term side effects of birth control and painkillers) , Click the link in my bio and take our period health quiz for 15% off while supplies last! 🌸 #periodpain #myhappyflo #blackwomenhealth #wellnessbrand #periodcare #pmsrelief #fibroidhealing #menstrualcycle #periodhacks #periodgoals

Sometimes you have to be a little delusional first. Because if you wait for it to make sense, you may never start. Almost five years ago, I started a supplement brand for women dealing with conditions like fibroids and period symptoms that were preventing them from living full, pain-free lives. People thought I was crazy and they were right. I was delusional when it came to this dream. I think about the version of me who almost talked herself out of this every single day. I’m so glad she didn’t listen. Enjoyed seeing @myhappyflo at Phipps 📷: @itsarchel 🥂: @emergeatlanta #BlackOwnedBusiness #WomenInBusiness #FounderLife #StartupJourney #DreamsToReality

One thing about Atlanta… it is going to give a room full of gorgeous, powerful women ✨ Still floating from this week’s Legacy & Leadership Women’s history month event by @ladiesathleticclubofatl ! The energy, the conversations, the connections… whew 😍 100+ women in the room, gems flowing all night, and @myhappyflo in the building as a gift bag sponsor 🥹 Atlanta showed out per usual. My favorite moment was T.I crashing the stage in support of @missmarto who was on the power circle panel. If you’re in Atlanta, joining @ladiesathleticclubofatl is truly a must. It’s a membership community of ambitious, professional women building real friendships, prioritizing wellness, and curating a variety of wellness and social experiences each month through their many partnerships including State Farm Arena and The Gathering Spot Retreat. Grateful to have shared space with the VP of Brand at @thehoneypotco + founder of @rangebeauty (@alicia.aes ) and so many women who are genuinely building something meaningful. Atlanta just feels different… and this night proved it ✨ 📷: @jlaviiphotography Location: @retreatbytgs #ladiesathleticclubatl #AtlantaWomen #WomensHistoryMonth #MyHappyFlo #WomenInWellness

Last night was a vibe ✨✨. A Room full of 100+ gorgeous women. 2 panels. T.I. The Mayor of Atlanta @andreforatlanta , My Happy flo on deck 😍 and gems dropped throughout the night. That’s the recap of Legacy & Leadership, the amazing women’s history month event by @ladiesathleticclubofatl held at the gathering spot retreat yesterday evening. I was so honored to be a part of the special evening as a speaker (My first time on a stage in almost two years) and as a gift bag sponsor to introduce the room to how we are changing lives, health outcomes and periods at @myhappyflo . It was an honor to share the stage with Jazmyn William, VP of brand at @thehoneypotco and @alicia.aes of @rangebeauty @lovebrookeg and @monithemogul curated a beautiful evening If you are coordinating events in Atlanta, especially with women and wellness, I’d love to chat to see how we can collaborate. 🫶🏾❤️

One day — at the airport, at the festival, at the mall, a woman is going to feel her period coming and My Happy Flo is going to be right there waiting for her. 🌸 Hormone care and menstrual cycle support at your fingertips. That’s not a dream. That’s a plan. The vision started here. Slot 54 at the @investwithcherub Angel ATM at SXSW last year, a vending machine that lets investors test products from founders who are raising. We were selected among incredible female-founded brands and that little pink box refused to be ignored. 😍 We’re headed back to SXSW this year. The vision hasn’t changed. It’s just gotten bigger. 👀 Stay tuned. 🎥: @mzskittlez #myhappyflo #investwithcherub #periodsupport #pmsrelief #sxsw2026

In an industry where most supplements are not clinically tested or regulated, hearing “All of our PMS supplements do not tip the scales with this many claims,” from the lab that conducted our clinical trials hits different. This is what it looks like when a Black woman builds a brand with receipts, science, and intention. My Happy Flo isn’t just another period supplement — it’s backed by clinical trials and proven to alleviate heavy, painful periods, common amongst black women disproportionately effected by fibroids. We built this because we knew it filled a void in the wellness aisles. Rarely are products formulated with our unique health needs like Vitamin D deficiency and anemia in mind. Representation isn’t just being seen, it’s being proven. Happy Black History Month 💕🙏🏽 #myhappyflo #clinicaltrials #periodsupplement #hormonehealth

December 2023, I sat in Dartmouth’s executive program and wrote a letter to my future self. Today… I found it in my car. 🤯 I was only 2 years into trying to get @myhappyflo launched and off the ground back then but reading it back felt like meeting a younger version of me who was hopeful, specific, and quietly bold about what she wanted. And the wild part? I’ve accomplished so many of the things I wrote down, things I forgot I even prayed for. Sometimes we’re so deep in the weeds, building, surviving, stretching… that we don’t pause long enough to realize we’re actually winning Let this be your reminder that when things get rough, take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve come. Celebrate the small wins. Document your dreams. 10/10 recommend writing a letter to your future self. Call it a manifestation hack. Call it alignment. Call it faith. Either way… it works. ✨ Have you written a letter to your future self before? #tuckschoolofbusiness #dartmouth #founderlife #founderjourney #myhappyflo

I was scrolling Instagram the other day and a headline stopped me cold: “The Digital Funeral of Black Women-Owned Businesses.” It genuinely made my heart drop. My brand, @myhappyflo Flo turns 5 this year. Only 5% of Black women-owned businesses even make it to year five. The odds are stacked. A friend DMd me recently and said “I just want some good news about our businesses for once.” Ami Cole. Hanifa. CurlMix. Pat McGrath. PlantMade. Slutty Vegan. Names we know. Brands we Follow. Founders who have given everything. A few years ago, the conversation was around launching new businesses, but rarely where we talking about what happens when it’s time for brands to scale. Going viral without infrastructure, organization, and the team and inventory to keep up with the demand. The biggest threat I see right now for black brands is having to solely rely on debt to fund our growth. Black women founders receive less than 0.34% of venture capital funding, and grant programs that were created to support their growth have been dismantled which means when our businesses start to scale, we have to borrow from sharks. Credit cards at 25-30% interest. Business loans with short payback windows and BRUTAL terms. And when that debt starts to stack, few of us have a life jacket. What comes next is what we’ve been watching play out in real time: forced sales, bankruptcies, fundraising campaigns to prevent closures, and founders losing the very thing they built from nothing. Forbes @janicejnice reached out to include me in a piece on this very crisis. Swipe through to read what I shared. Comment link and I’ll send you the article!

Learning to sit in the quiet moments of the last decade and reflect… A decade ago, I made one of the most defining decisions of my career when I chose to close my celebrity blog Necole Bitchie. At the time, it felt uncertain, but looking back, I now know it was necessary. The mental exhaustion, sleepless nights, skipping meals, constant travel, and mounting costs to keep up was slowly killing me, and I knew something had to change. The last 10 years has been less about reinvention and more about alignment. I went on to start another brand xoNecole (which was acquired), completed programs in holistic nutrition and hormone health, became a fitness competitor and IFBB PRO, started playing in tennis leagues, and leaned into nurturing community offline all while building a new brand focused on helping women heal their menstrual cycles, @myhappyflo . Now, everything feels so aligned and so right. Transitions and pivots are never easy, but staying stuck in spaces you’ve outgrown will always feel a lot harder. If you were there in the early days and you’re still here through all the pivots, I’m deeply grateful. ✨🫶🏾 #necolebitchie #xonecole myhappyflo
