This hike is super easy to do from London. We met at 8am and were back at London Victoria by 7pm after a leisurely afternoon drink and bite to eat in a local pub in Seaford. We got super lucky with the weather ☀️ The views the whole way along the cliffs are unreal. There are plenty of spots to stop for lunch, go for a swim, or just say thank you to the powers that be for landing you in such an incredible location.
To get here there are a couple of ways to do your train ticket - you can either grab a return to Eastbourne then get a single from Seaford to Lewes on your way back from Seaford, or if you book 3 days in advance you can get a day saver ticket on Southern Rail that covers all journeys on the Southern Railway and covers both your journeys for around £25.
The beach at the end is a cool place to have a swim if you’re brave and the weather is behaving itself.
🚨 Remember -leave no trace, be kind to the animals, and bring all your rubbish back with you. Stay on the track and stay away from the cliff edges. They’re super exposed and the drop down will be your last. ⚰️
