17 years a celebrant today and I love it more than ever because of the people I see get married. You guys make it everything for me 🥰 Credit to @levi_dance ’s proposal video, @hellobrittanyjane for making me a husband and father, and @paulbamford for those wedding pics from 14 years ago.

I'm obsessed with how you feel in your wedding ceremony, so it's really special to get this feedback from Bec & Steve #marriedbyjosh at @derwentestate in Hobart: "From our first meeting, it was clear that we were dealing with someone who is a complete professional, yet incredibly compassionate and funny. Josh has a rare gift for putting you at ease immediately, and we knew our day was in the best possible hands. On the day, his calm presence was exactly what we needed to stay grounded and actually enjoy the moment. What truly sets Josh apart is his delivery--he doesn't read from notes or an iPad, which made the ceremony feel incredibly authentic and personal. He was so engaging to our guests and managed the energy of the event perfectly, throwing in a little humour at just the right times when emotions were getting the best of us. He kept us calm throughout while still making the big moments feel truly significant. Josh also did an amazing job as our reception MC, keeping the momentum going and the atmosphere high all night long. We cannot recommend him enough." The art of being a great wedding celebrant is really not that hard. For just a few minutes of your existence you need to be able to put all of the world aside and focus on helping two people stride boldly, bravely, beautifully, into marriage in a very authentic, honest, and genuine way. I was glad to do that for Shervin and Carolina in Byron Bay with the @elopementcollective and @jasonlucasweddings

Rhi and Levi invited everyone to their engagement party at @adamsdistillery , then @jessoakenfull invited everyone outside for a group photo and took us out to a ceremony setup and Rhiannon walks out in a wedding dress. They left me a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review 🥰 “There are so many things I could say about our experience, but it’s all been said before. Josh was exactly what we wanted in a celebrant, and more! He was relaxed, organised, and thoughtful. He listened to what we wanted from our ceremony and delivered tenfold. No fluff, no fuss. We laughed, we cried, we got married! 10/10 we cannot recommend Josh enough!” It’s always a blessing to do good work with good people for good people!

“Josh made our intimate elopement in Queenstown, New Zealand truly unforgettable. With the day already feeling so relaxed, Josh’s overall vibe had the perfect balance of professional yet friendly, and making us feel so excited for our ceremony. During our ceremony, he made us feel present, made us laugh at times, and his words felt so personal, yet the atmosphere felt was so easy-going, which was everything we wanted! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, honestly the dreamiest elopement we could have asked for. Thank you so much, Josh - we’re beyond grateful!” Jaeda & Adrian #marriedbyjosh in #queenstown #newzealand with the @elopementcollective and @bulb.creative

“My husband and I wanted an intimate ceremony in a scenic location. We first met Josh on a call and immediately noticed his genuine personality which was exactly what we wanted for our special day. On the big day Josh made our ceremony feel so special and a true celebration of us. He has a true passion for people…celebrating a couples love and their journey as they enter the next chapter and letting love shine. We felt so comfortable and relaxed with Josh. I couldn’t recommend him enough!” @jasminrockes + @cenzo_001 #marriedbyjosh on Eaglehawk Neck’s Tessellated Pavement with the legends, @mozoph.weddings

My hope is that one day when I pass from this earth I'll be known for passionately (to a fault) really caring about how this moment feels and flows. That and being a great husband, father, and friend. But not much else matters to me. That's really the only professional criticism you could bring my way that would break my heart. That this moment when we breathed your marriage to life didn't feel honest and genuine and good. Also, do yourself a favour and get someone like @jordanmillarmusic from @xosounds.co to play at your ceremony. It will always feel better than anything you can find in an mp3 file. And also, get Jimi from @seasonandfire to cook the food. It's good.
