I absolutely loved my first supper club at
@hellojosephineuk in Beckenham last month. The Paris in Spring theme suited the cute little venue really well and i really enjoyed plating up on the counter in front of the diners.
Here’s the menu:
@clarence_court quails egg and dijon mayonnaise, with caviar or porcini powder and truffle oil, red chicory
hake or fennel bouillabaisse, crème fraiche
Oyster, king prawn, scallop and crab claw platter or Jerusalem artichoke, globe artichoke, Wye Valley asparagus and hispi cabbage platters, with wild garlic aioli, chilli sauce, radicchio and Isle of Wight tomatoes, and homemade sourdough bread
Chocolate mousse with Yorkshire strawberries laced with brandy
@whitelakecheese ’s newly released Kingfisher blue, cornichons, sourdough crackers
Salted caramel chocolates and Bramley and Gage elderflower liqueur
All fish was sourced from Crystal Palace’s
@fishmongers_plaice and the cheese was from South Norwood’s cheesemonger
@littlemousecheese .

The next Hello Josephine supper club is 25th July and it is picnic themed – you can book it here. There will be two tables of two outside to sit on if you wish – if you are interested in this then please let me know as soon as you book and I will reserve that table. There are also booking options on my website for the two subsequent supper clubs there, the mushroom feast on 24th October and a Christmas in Rome themed supper club on 12th December.
I have a family supper club lunch collaboration with children’s workshop provider
@mini_chef_makes happening on Sunday 17th May in Crystal Palace. It is most suited to children from 2 to 8 years old. Find out more about the Family Supper Club here.
And my next supper club is on Saturday 23rd May. It is a small affair at my home in Anerley, SE20, looking at my past supper club dishes and welcoming summer. It’s a 5 min walk from Birkbeck station.
