I literally had chills watching this movie.
Not just because of the talent. I mean we already knew that. But because of the intentionality, the discipline, the self-belief, and the purpose behind it all.
I've seen differing takes on it. Expectations vs Reality but this one is for every creator and dreamer trying to build something real.
Take what you need. 💛
With love,
Isioma.

Olandria Carthens has been quietly running a masterclass in strategic positioning and I’ve been taking notes.
Many creators focus on content.
But positioning? That’s what determines the kind of opportunities that come your way.
There’s a lot to learn here if you’re building for longevity.
Save this. Share it with a creator who needs to see it. And start treating your brand like the business it is. 🤝
People who really know me know that when something is good, I won’t stop talking about it… and this is one of those.
I went to watch a stage play yesterday and left thinking about so much more than just the performance. I found myself paying attention to the structure, the details, the intentionality. The kind of thinking that goes into building something that people don’t just enjoy, but feel.
Seeing the infrastructure they built and the level of investment that went into it was honestly incredible. The studio is called Immersia by Anthill Studios and experiencing that kind of production here in Nigeria? It did something for me.
Especially because I’ve been thinking a lot about our creative economy - the talent, the potential, and what happens when that talent is matched with this level of execution.
Anyway… I’ve broken down a few things that stood out to me. Let me know what you think in the comments✨
Again, @_anthillstudios@immersiabyanthill@niyi_akinmolayan take your flowers please 💐 Y’all outdid yourselves!
This is one of those things that’s been sitting on my mind for a while and I’m genuinely curious.
Clearly, talent isn’t enough.
Because with the level of creativity and potential we have, we should be seeing even more results.
I recently came across a ranking by Time Out listing the 50 best cities in the world and Lagos made the list. It was described as electric. Full of life. A city buzzing with culture and energy, capable of attracting people from all over the world.
But at the same time, it feels like the more attention we get, the more the gaps start to show.
If you have any thoughts regarding this, please share, I’d love to read them.
“The one whom God has planted… no one can uproot.”
The loudest voice in my head lately has been: “The time is now.”
And honestly, that can mean so many things.
You know how they say it’s not enough to do great work, you have to be seen doing great work?
Yeah… I’m finally stepping into that.
My career has been such a huge part of my journey and for the most part, it’s been very behind the scenes.
Late nights. Tight timelines. Projects that stretched me.
And somehow, in all of that, it has produced the most beautiful fruits.
But really… the time is now.
The time where the work begins to speak louder.
Where the projects start to announce themselves.
Where everything I’ve been building quietly starts to take shape, out loud.
I recently took a step back to really reflect on my journey and wow… there’s so much to be grateful for.
So much growth. So much becoming.
And I’m realizing that this next phase isn’t just about achieving milestones…
It’s about stepping into even greater opportunities — fully seen, fully expressed.
Because truly, we’re not called into hiding.
We’re called to shine.
What can I say…
I’m just a girl with very big, very audacious dreams.
Some of which I might just start sharing here 🤍
@02academylagos challenged me to review any campaign in the Telecommunications industry and I picked @mtnng
MTN’s #WhatAreWeDoingToday campaign complements its rebranding efforts in preparation for its #Ambition2025 initiative, signaling a shift from telecommunications to “Techcommunications”. The aim is to become the leading provider of digital solutions for Africa’s progress across various sectors like media, enterprise, fintech, and APIs.
Building upon existing services like Momo, Ayoba, and Mobile Advertising, MTN’s brand refresh serves as a catalyst for progress in the digital world. The campaign emphasizes MTN’s commitment to empowering individuals and communities, whether through reliable network coverage, job creation, or corporate social investments.
By bridging the digital divide and fostering inclusivity, MTN seeks to create a more connected world, driven by technology. The #WhatAreWeDoingToday campaign embodies MTN’s dedication to innovation and societal impact, positioning the brand as a transformative force in Africa’s digital landscape.
I thoroughly enjoyed researching this campaign, and I’m sure you now grasp the context behind the popular MTN’s #WhatAreWeDoingToday campaign.
