Yup, we’re expecting a new ghostly and we’re super excited for our BIG Family to get a little BIGGER.
We’ve been extremely anxious this time around since we caught the you know what a couple of months ago but we feel a little better announcing it after the recent scan that confirmed it’s a girl. Any gaming name suggestions are welcomed lol 😂.
The baby is due in October, so if anyone knows how to sneak an Xbox Series X and 55inch TV into the hospital to play Assassin’s Creed Mirage, let me know lol 😂

What’s your gaming goals for 2026?
I’m planning on finally hoping the 1M GamerScore club this year. I’m actively pushing to get the goal by the time my account ticks over to 18 years old. I’ve got around 120K left to go, I’ve been grinding some games today, so the plan is to chill for the evening with some Apex Legends and Fortnite.

Have you played Forza Horizon 6 yet?
I haven’t jumped in yet as I’m not a huge car guy, so I’m waiting for it to drop on Game Pass next week. I’ve checked out some videos though and it’s been hard to not pick up the upgrade pack.

What games are you playing this weekend?
I started playing Black Jacket last night on Xbox Game Pass and got quickly hooked on it. It’s a card game where you have to get a score of 21 but with rogue like elements and I’m usually not interested in Rogue like games. It’s kinda like Balatro but I’m loving it so far. I’m probably gonna spend my weekend playing it alongside Fortnite and Apex Legends.

Who’s excited for Forza Horizon 6?
Early access kicks off tomorrow and I’m fighting the urge to pick up the upgrade pack so I can play the game early. I’m not a big car guy but I’m really looking forward to being able to explore Japan since I don’t think I’ll ever have the opportunity to go myself.
While I try to decide whether to upgrade or not, the plan is to knockout my dailies for Apex Legends and try out the Overwatch update on Fortnite.

What’s your most anticipated game release of May?
There’s three games that i genuinely can’t wait to play and they are LEGO Batman Legacy Of The Dark Knight, Forza Horizon 6 and 007: First Light. Outside of that there is some cool updates coming to games this month with Overwatch collaborating with Fortnite and a new event coming to Apex Legends.

What’s the next gaming accessory you plan to buy?
I’ve got the Forza Horizon 6 Xbox Series X Controller on preorder, so that’ll be mine but outside of that I don’t really purchase many gaming peripherals anymore. I started to scale back late last year as I’m running out space but also the prices have gotten way out of hand. An Xbox controller shouldn’t cost £85 but that’s how much the new Forza one is, the quality of gaming controllers these days are pretty bad compared to older generations.
Anywho, we having a really relaxed evening. So it’s gonna be Apex Legends, Fortnite and anime for the rest of the evening.

What’s your favourite gaming genres?
I have two that comes to mind and they are FPS games and turn based RPG’s. I’ve been playing FPS games for so long but Halo 3 was the one that really got me entrenched in the genre and since then I’ve played everything from CoD to Battlefield to Titanfall and now Apex Legends. I can’t say the same about turn based as I don’t play everything as they tend to be long games but some of favourite series are Like A Dragon, Persona and Pokemon. Though there’s some great indie turn based games like Dodgeball Academia and Honkai Starrail.

How’s your Sunday going so far?
We’ve spent the day together chilling and overall just trying to be present with one another. The plan is have a roast dinner and maybe watch some sitcoms and play some games. I’ll probably end up playing some Apex Legends, Fortnite and a bit of Pokemon Pokopia.

What’s your most anticipated game coming to Xbox Game Pass?
The Xbox Presents: Stranger Than Heaven showcase aired last night and I’m really digging everything that was shown off so far. The coolest parts for me are the story spanning over 50 years, the different locations like Osaka and Hiroshima and the musical aspects to the game. The only thing that I’m a little skeptical of is the combat being based on the triggers for left and right. While it’s cool to see devs try and do something different, I think it’s gonna feel a bit gimmicky over time and not be the most fun to play. Hopefully I’m wrong and the game is fantastic though.
