How lucky am I to be nervous about being 30?
How lucky am I to see the gray hairs start to poke out from my beard?
I’m so thankful to those who’ve helped forge me into who I’m proud to be. I still have a lot of growing to do. But I’ve come so far to not be grateful.
To the 10 year old who never thought he was important.
To the 15 year old who hated the world.
To the 20 year old who thought he would be alone forever.
To the 25 year old who was scared he wouldn’t figure it out.
You were always important. The world is beautiful. You were never alone. You’ll figure it out.
To my friends and family whom I love. To the friends I don’t speak to anymore whom I miss.
