A new updated version of the graphic novels I’ve worked on that are available wherever books are sold! This has been wild to see grow over the years, and I’m so proud to have so many of my stories in the world. Thank you for your support 🙏🏻💖

RACC PACK: THE BINS BREAKOUT has been out for two weeks now! Life has been a bit wild lately so I haven’t had a chance to see it out in the world yet, but it’s so surreal to have a trilogy featuring these delightful critters that Whitney and I brought to life. We really hope you enjoy this latest caper, and if you’ve had a chance to pick it up and read, be sure to let us know! 💖

May 21 — As TCAF approaches ⏰ RAID is hosting Canadian-Ukrainian artist Emilia Strilchuk for a conversation on storytelling of the self, with writer Stephanie Cooke. 📚 Together, they’ll explore Emilia’s graphic memoir Be Yourself…Oh, Not Like That, about growing up and being diagnosed with autism later in life. From everyday misunderstandings to moments of clarity, the work reflects on what it means to translate lived experience into story. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Your ticket includes a complimentary drink 🍹 Snacks and drinks available on site. 🎟️ Tickets via Eventbrite — link in stories. See you there.

UPDATE: Jon replied to my initial message from yesterday. He ignored me after my reply here. I posted this to my stories already but since it’s only there for a limited time, I thought I’d put this on the grid for now too. 🤡🤡🤡 From my previous post: Jon Oringer, founder and executive chairman of Shutterstock, is trying to recruit comic and graphic novel creators to a new AI platform that he’s building. Feel free to let him (and them) know what you think of this, and never use Shutterstock again ✌🏻

BABY GARFIELD is here! I had the good fortune to not only be able to team up with my pal and Racc Pack co-creator, @heywhitneywrites for this story, but was reunited with my OG editor, Lily. I grew up watching the cartoon and reading the comic strips, and I am so happy to contribute further to Garfield’s lore. Our story is all about Baby Garfield’s First Monday. Why does he hate them so much?! Find out by picking up this issue and reading!

A (currently) rare selfie for the timeline (sans a book or pet). But like, I got a haircut and then dressed up for a date night and felt cute, so here we are đź’–

It’s so surreal seeing our three Racc Pack books side by side like this. I’m so grateful that we’ve been able to bring the Bins’ story to life and have SO much fun doing it. Less than a week now until you can see what these delightful ding-dongs get up to next!
