I don’t know how often you fall in love with a newly released song but it’s a pretty rare occurrence for me😅… Iron and Wine just put this one out the other day and right after I heard it for the first time, I listened to it again about six times in a row… sooooo thanks for another great one Sam!)
‘In Your Ocean’, learned from the forthcoming Iron and Wine record ‘Hen’s Teeth’, which will be out Feb 27, 2026…written by Sam Beam.
Take the tiny screws out, unspool the tiny tape far enough to cut the crumpled up section out, take a tiny little bit of scotch tape to mend the break, reset the tiny spool and get the tape back in all the little channels to make sure it runs smooth, set the removed half of the shell back in place, screw the tiny screws back in, bask in the glory that you made it possible for a 25 year old cassette to play again. For added enjoyment, listen to an early 1960’s Christmas recording of The Staple Singers 🎄
