Hey folks. I’m raising funds on behalf of Heather Cain, friend and owner of reCreate by Zenith. Heather is an important figure in our community who is passionate about accessible arts. In fact, reCreate is the only creative reuse store in Sioux Falls!
She also uses her platform to rally the community and care for people in need. Recent drives and local organizations she’s partnered with includes Uniquely Yours Specialized Care , The Foster Network , Journey of Hope , and more.
Heather has done so much for our community, and now she needs our help. She’s been going through painful medical issues and is having surgery at the beginning of May. The pain, surgery, and healing process makes keeping reCreate open extra difficult, which means paying the store’s May rent will be difficult.
If you care about accessible art in our community, please consider helping out financially so reCreate can make rent and stay open. If you’re unable to donate money, please consider volunteering time to run the store. You can contact me directly if you’re interested in donating your time!
