He was born from fire and was the only jinn ever granted a place in paradise. Once among the highest of angels, he refused to bow to humans out of pride, causing his fall from heaven.
His face caught between heaven and hell, a single tear holding both.
Ive always loved this painting sm - how so many emotions can be seen in a single glance. There is a silent power in that expression, a story told without words, and thats what I wanted to capture in this painting. 💗
